There this site once called shubaw.com I wanted to read this novel I read along time ago in that site. It was an historical Chinese setting the ml and FL was a husband and wife and the ml was deported to the war from a young age then never came back his wife the FL left their village where they live because there was some disaster there I think they have 3 children, they meet again when FL was hit by a carriage I think and ml was accompanying the princess of the kingdom and he's a general now because of his contributions to the war. He took the FL and their children to his mansion.
