I've recently start translating a novel

So I've recently start translating an historical Chinese novel and I find myself stuck in many intricacies of the harem fights in it .And once again find myself just a humble being who can't even compare to the tiniest fingers of these ancient people like they are the real people who are living on the edge like you can be poisoned or assassinated at any minute and nobody will ever find out if they just say that you're gone to another city nobody can confirm it .And once again I became thankful that I am born in a law abiding Society which has technology to track me down.By the way if some one is interested the blog name is page in translation https://pageintranslations.blogspot.com/?m=1
