Webtoon (the app) just really sucks now

I genuinely hate what webtoon has become. From the stories to user interaction to setting, a lot has changed....

1. POP UPS!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH BUT I DO NOT LIKE POP UPS. AT ALL! You go onto the app - pop up for new manhwa. Finish a chapter - pop up to choose your new series. And sometimes when trying to click off it, and - I don't know if my phone is janky like that - it'll click on the pop up and automatically take me to a story and now i have to go through the effort of deleting it through my history. I just loathe how the app is shoving novels in my face every chance it can get. Stop shoving things in my face trying to get clicks.

2. Umm we have TikTok on Webtoon now??? I do not want short-form videos on my app. Insta was ruined for me the moment they did, why are you acting the same. The only thing I'm glad about this one is that it isn't a pop up and you can largely ignore it, but can we just stop trying to incorporate short form videos on EVERY platform? Highly unnecessary.

3. The front page banner just disappeared??? It was such a good way to advertise new novels or news about returns or whatever without it being too in your face but they completely got rid of it (I'm assuning the pop-ups took its place??). But honestly, what a massivw downgrade...

4. Explicit content is now available??? Wasn't this app for preteens and teens? Why are we straight up putting potn webtoons up for these kids to access?? They should screen stuff better and have more control over whatever slop they allow on the table. They can seemingly dox bloody novels just fine but not straight up deed scenes??? Bruh wha??.
