Yeah, it's a pretty generic question, but uhn... I'm kinda curious in general, I guess? Like... I personally would love to learn how to make some plushies for one. I'd also like to learn how to make my own clothes and stuff like that. I never actually tried learning how to though. At most, I can sew a button back in my trousers, or patch a small hole or something... I wanna learn how to do more at some point though~ And on the virtual end, well... I love writing, so I wanna make stories... And forum games... And actual games and... Uhn... Lots of stuff tbh! xD But well, I'm curious on you all. Do you actually make things? Tell me about it~
I used to like origami a lot. But it's been a while since I've made anything... Cranes and lotuses are my favourite ones! And I like writing stories too. I've learnt knitting before, but it's a little too boring so I never continued it. As for what I'd like to learn, probably how to draw and paint, but there's probably no hope for me there XD...
Yep! I actually have a ton of hobbies like writing, drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc. I tend to like creating stuff because it's fun seeing the finished product.
Aaaaah, same on the drawing end here! I'd like to, but I don't have hopes for it! >.< Origami looks really fun though! I feel like I'd prefer something a bit more permanent (hence the plushies), but I think I'd enjoy origamis quite a bit too~ *nod nod nod* There's a lot of satisfaction to be gotten from finishing making a product~
Home-made letters. It started off as me just making drawings and placing stickers on notes to pass to friends during class, and then during university I would send out cards to friends for birthday's or major events. Now as an adult I genuinely like making my friends letters, I like to buy stickers or make drawings to attach to them. Makes me happy when they tell me that they still have letters I sent years back :')
So nice to see someone sending letters in this day and age~ I personally never sent any letter to anyone whatsoever, but it was nice to hear about it~
this cat used to learn embroidery~ small one like handkerchief, table cloth? but meh not so good~ just basic stuff such as simple flower pattern, stickman, leaves such simple pattern consist of 3-4 color~ knitting hat some of traditional ritual stuff if that count
The former looks pretty lovely. I kinda wanna learn those at some point~ The latter sounds a bit scary, but all is well when it ends well~
My sister tried to teach me how to crochet little plushies, but it never stuck. I tried becoming a graphic artist for games but that also didn't stick. I just wanna read all the time and pretty much nothing else. I have plenty of stories i started or wrote the summary of in the hopes i would slowly finish writing them but haven't gotten very far yet. I can draw ok, do some 3d modeling, not much else in the crafting department
Well, sure, why not!? xD On that note, I wanna try baking some cookies tomorrow. I still didn't quite get them to work out well, so I need to bake more in order to get them right... Will do my best~ Ah, you tried quite a few things! And well, it's fine if not all of it sticks. Some things we like, others not as much~ Good luck with writing/drawing/modeling! ^^)/
As a kid I drew a lot and painted. as a teen I wanted to make my own hoodies so I learned to use a sewing machine then I got into making things out of clay basically ceramics (the park near my house when I was a kid/teen has small lake and there was a lot of natural clay) My dad helped me shovel out at least 2 truck loads of clay. we made a clay oven we bought a wheel for molding and with the oven we made plates, cups and a few animal statues that sold pretty well.
Oh wow, you did some really cool stuff! I was never one to handle clay and the like much, since I hate dirtying my hands, but it's still cool that you could even make things you could actually sell with it! Gz! ^^)/
When your parents are broke the land is your playground and it's also your resource. XD Unlike most ppl who could afford to buy bottles of paint I had to make my own paint you can make paint from clay and starch (potato flour/rice/wheat) or sometimes I would sneak into my school's art class and steal a bottle. XD
I cook for myself, occasionally but that doesn't count since most of it isn't technically "cooking" LOL. I 'make' photo's and video's. currently refining the basics for what gear I could afford before posting it to a new YouTube channel. first major goal 100 subscribers edit: I also like to write dark fiction, which could help me a little with scripting the videos and a bit, but the genre and niche is so different I can't make much use of that. plus I got so blocked I rarely managed to write something I am happy with or willing to share with others.
I like cooking for myself. I also work building stuff, does that count? Sometimes I do interesting stuff at work, like, built new pharmaceutical production line when pandemic started, that was kinda interesting. Also got to chat with few ladies working there. Apparently being worker in such institution is quite dreadful and lots of college ppl end up there not really applying their skills much.
I want to! I want to actually write and make some neat cosplay stuff but.... Time is an issue. And a lack of skill.
