Same tbh The blonde girl is her best friend, who has been taken in by the FL family since she was young. Blonde friend's father abandoned her mother when he learned she was pregnant, and the mother died in an accident some years later. Since the blonde/mother was close to FL and their family, the FL's parents took in the blonde. Also the spoilers haven't given any deep insight into the ML. There's only up to 11 chapters ATM in raws, it's also an original manhwa and not based on any novel etc, so not much has been shared about each character's backstory or personality etc. It's just not accurate to say that the ML isn't worth it, there's literally no information.
