I did not understand much, but in the last side story that was published a week ago, it seems that he made a farewell confession to the fl

If there are spoilers, I hope they spoil the side story

 

U see, it is because society still has that conception that men were allowed have multiple women, it was the norm, a harem.

But when women did the same, they see them as sl*t who sleep around with many men.

It just how society run. they say gender equality but in fact, its not. it never will be. the only thing that bring equality is power, if you have power, you are in the right, and no one can refute what u say or do.

Also, there are several reverse harem novels but they are has 3-4 men in the harem. this one has only 2 so it quite mild.

 

Even with the ending MC living happily with 2 MLs, I don't see why we should drop this novel. We should remember that this novel is in difference time with us. And this is just a fiction, living with 2 man is completely normal.

My personal preference is whether it's male or female, making a harem is just not my cup of tea. In general, toxic move.

Hence why I don't even read any like ANY kind of literature that has harem in it. Be it rofan or any genre in general. Moreover, NTR.

To me, it gives bad taste and I prefer loyalty n attention focused on 1 person over love spread out to every individual (like an emperor with many harem).

Be it polygamous or polyandry, to me both are just toxic and i don't like it.
Reading it just may make me feels disgusted.

Personally, I don't mind. This is fiction mixed with limited preconceptions of a Korean author on aristocracy but it goes back to it being a fictional work. The only fault I can see in this discussion is the missing harem tag. It may be an ending spoiler but then it shifts the fault to the expectant reader for not checking the genre

Binge read the manhwa after putting it off for so long so I'm here to ask for general summary of the series.

I will repeat my previous stance (discussion-wise) that I personally do not mind poly ending. MC has been portrayed as an unhinged girl boss since she was a kid. She's an incredibly successful merchant that can freely take care of 500, 000 men for a year. Wanting to be in a harem like scenario is within her rights for practically saving the world... presumably successfully as well.

Spoiler Requests wise, so what is off with the heroine that MC conveniently forgot on their first meeting? I liked the dynamics so far but if we're going with Yuri route, I might as well ship MC with her current bestie, the Count/Earl's daughter with an accent.

Again, I'm asking for general spoilers on the recurrent casts as well.

 

So here's my threshold: yes at the beginning of isekai story ML have so many Concubine, that also disgust me, but the story that i love to read is that when he ended with one, the fl. So there's no third party. And in this story, FL ended with 2 guy, which is also something i hate.

As much as i hate harem (reverse or not) or open ending. My brain is hurt much that i have to think about fairness between harem couples
This is just my subjective preference tho, since you ask why, so i share mine.

Judging from the panels (since I can't read Korean, French, or Indonesian moon runes), it most likely he did remember her. He even got jealous on her black haired blue eyed aide(?). I almost thought the new black haired was Raven again but different eye color. But new guy named Louis(?) certainly seems evil if he seems to be talking to a red robed individual talking in black dialogue box and red text

Edit: what on earth happened to her parents? Her mother at least had a sick panel in the timeskip so she could be dead but the father disappeared after meeting a sus purple haired person. The comments on toki keep mentioning a cross dresser in that chapter which was probably the heroine

Edit3: when ML gave her back the necklace again at ch 39, it's most likely he did remember (the timeskip is just so random to me). But hold up everyone, LOUIS IS MCs FIANCE?! according to Korean comments. How on earth did ML lose his memory after proposing a second time then? He just left the necklace then timeskip

 

Spoiler: Novel ending chapter 150

Ok i checked the chapter 150 & raw webtoon (its already 50+ chaps) so from my understanding, Louis was actually the final boss in OG novel (demon lord who incited war or the reason/mastermind iirc) and so in this timeline, since Eiselle did weird things since she was a child, one of the main butterfly effects is that now Louis the demon lord(?) Is interested in her meddling against his demon war plans & infiltrates her as secretary & fiance.Now, regarding the poly/romance ending plottwist, as of chapter 150(last chap of main story), it's ambiguously open, leaning towards Louis or Carl both.

Spoiler: Perspective & ending possibilities

PERSONALLY for me, normal 1+1 romance is fine in FICTION (shoujo/shonen) because it doesn't seem like it hinders as much as harems. REVERSEHAREM/POLY route usually ends with FL picking 1 out of the bunch or rarepy lives with a bunch where FL is an emperor so the other fishes are just her concubines cuz they usually make FL in harem forever just stagnantly confused on who she emotes more with so no winner like some shonen isekais lol

RARELY for me, in stories with harems they did the story justice or relevant to the plot and end up with tacky distasteful service & brainless characters fawning & flirting over ML/FL. The ones using harem plot relevantly can barely be counted or relevant enough in my memory (eg harem for empire expansion or as diplomatic stuff or between beast/mythical race).

So in Eiselle's case, since emotionally she's a weird strategist transmigrator with the capacity to emote in par with an AI robot since she was reborn due to her past growing up lack of love & probably issues of neglect/abandonment - the story would be enough if there was obvious ending for her:
1.as a solo badass FL who don't do romance.
2. Mainstream rofan route #1: Karl romance potential is wasted in this case &
3. Mainstream (though less) rofan route #2: Louis coulda been the actual final boss plot she didn't know plotting against her but he just had to be one of her otome harem with his relevance being as a stopping point of the war (since Louis was the one instigating demon vs human war)

Now, above was my spoiler + a bit of perspective into the plottwist ending route but only because ig we're all just super used to NOT expecting this used in shoujo but more in shonen & seinen considering the normalisation & oversaturation of harem tropes in genres like isekai in shonen & seinen & moreso because korean rofan rarely normalise harem tropes esp if its not within the tags this storyline usually takes unlike obvious korean shoujo stories using harem like 2 where FL is an emperor.

Spoiler: Harem/poly as a trope necessity in story?

So for harem tropes overall, if it's actually unnecessary to the main plot i wish these authors just not use/entertain it at all or make it obv ML/FL choose 1 or no romance at all.
I'm not saying we should all love/hate it, everyone has different taste & opinions.

For me the generic use of harem is too oversaturated & ruined in shonen/seinen isekai in japanese mangas as service tool for hentai community(?) so that 'helps' in my & some others' overall look in why harem/poly is actually more of a nuisance IF authors waste the trope NOT for the plot & main character development tool but for tacky fawning & flirting with no particular depth nor persona in the harem involved sorry to say.

Spoiler: Relevant & great use of poly/harem/otome trope in shoujo/shonen stories

One of the most memorable examples of harem/otome BASED in korean shoujo FOR ME is our famous 'Death is the Only Ending For the Villainess' where they make us guess who Penelope gonna go for and tadahhhh it was ******** and it turns out those other guys were just *******-- so in near climax we figured out who she chos. And the harem-otome tag was relevant and superrrr detrimental in her story for her survival & character development so bravo author nim for the engaging use of harem/potential harem tag in that.
But for particular good use of harem trope i forgot the title but it's a good japanese isekai where ML use his harem as his kingdom? diplomatic tool although there were some harem scenes for service here & there. I don'tparticularly search for anything with harem tag (since storyline & character portrayals for me are more essential in a story) so I'm sorry if my examples aren't that good/accurate
