In the 2nd half... Rozemyne baits Angelica with the 4th stage of the mana compression method and Matthias complains about being in another faction and not being able to choose. The amusing thing is the foreshadowing. We see a lot of, well, Matthias, Roderick, and also Laurenz, her three future retainers, as the receptive ones to changing factions. We see Barthold once, and another kid who I believe supported Rozemyne... yes yes, he stood by the wall next to Gretia in chapter during the former veronica faction meeting chapter 20, though I don't know his name. And I recognized the back of the 6th year medattendant who bullied Roderick but he didn't once turn around. And it ends with Rihyarda calling for a retainers meeting concerning Traugott

Aaaaaahhh!!! I can't believe I have to wait till January 10!!! I just finished reading part 5 vol 7!! There is so so so much to talk about in this volume! First, well I really am not likin Eglantine in this vol either, meh it's like she really expect Rozemyne to continue doing whatever she wants just because she ask in a nice way, not thinking at all that she may be disappointed in her for forcing to be her substitute, even expecting her to help her Klassenberg. It was amusing the thought that Cornelius and Hartmut were quarrelling right under these royals nose, simply to decide the order in which Rozemyne was going to participate in the dedication ritual xD At the end of this book we have trashiwald POV as well, and he meet Ferdinand at the place Rozemyne disappeared, which make me wonder, did Ferdinand intend to complete his Grutrissheit? Or was he simply looking for a clue about what happened to Rozemyne? Trashiwald heard him muttering " Rozemyne, you always find a way to ruin my plans..." which made me wonder if he wanted to complete the book, to have more chips to bargain or something? I did read in the spoiler that it was Letizia who poisoned Ferdinand but didn't understand the process really well, now that I read her POV everything is cleared up, I did think it was a bit weird how they gave her those candies and toy as gift, knowing how little Lanzenave, and Dietlinde cared about her, Dietlinde in particular given her personality I thought she would hug all the presents her "new love" bought to Ahrensbach and claim it as hers. In the end it was really something they did to gradually lower her guard in a psychological way, made her think it was something not harmful and nice, then make her eat the candy that got (trug?) mixed in , whilst in a heightened sense of anxiety given by how her closest servant disappeared for days, easily succeeded in inducing simple hypnosis with the toy as medium. Woah I hope this kid won't be traumatised for life, I mean few monent later her servants become stones and the guilt for poisoning Ferdinand could crush her and last but not last she is getting kidnapped and bought to another country with her closest servant who also become a stone....I wonder if the process to become a person again is possible? Anyway talking about Rozemyne, the fact that Kamil's baptism was also her last one made me tear up a little knowing that she thinks that it will be the last time she'll see her family like this, and she doesn't even know that Tuuli and Lutz are a thing now All in all my fav part was she was enticing Dunkelfelger Aub about playing real ditter she was so cool, and though she pretty much implied to him that she had the Book of mestionora when she said to wait at the country gate. I can't wait to read the next book!!! I want to read about the battle!!! I do have another series on j-novel, Apothecary Diaries, which I recommend, but I still won't subscribe, I don't want to pay to read and then pay to buy. That said, each j-novel translation part spans over usually 2/3 chapters, sometimes 4. As 4 parts have been translated, you have up to chapter 14. A new part comes out every monday evening. Although I don't read them, I'm following the progress on this fandom page They're currently at the chapter after the Lanzenave battle when Ferdinand is alone with Rozemyne at the country gate and he tells her of the choices she has.... while guiding her into the path he wants her to take... Next monday should be when they go defeat the Werkestock giebes that invaded Ehrenfest. I agree that Eglantine growing increasingly thoughtless, and careless, if not crass. Ferdinand wanted to complete his Book of Mestionola so he could complete his GH magic tool to negociate with the royal family but parts necessary to the ruling of the country are going to Rozemyne so the copy-paste will be necessary from her GH into his. And do recall that although Cornelius had been ordered to keep Hartmut in line, he had ended up being part of the crazy thing, and from the illustration, neither of them seems to be reflecting much, their face seems to say "It couldn't be helped". Well, guess they have their priorities well in order. Rozemyne's health is much more important than the royal family. By the way, I was surprised by how well Charlotte was handling Hartmut in the SS. I also got a better understanding of the poisoning incident. I thought Letizia was certainly being dumb but with wanting to escape reality and Trug, things do make better sense. Those candies also acted as antidote against the poison that turns people into feystone. This event will surely traumatize her to an extent, but it should also teach her to be more careful, especially of presents from people who get along with her political enemies. I do share Eckhart's concerns, but I'm not nearly as harsh as him lol. And Rozemyne's care should help healing and teaching her. Other than that I pretty much agree with you. Also, concerning the Drama CD 10 samples, there's when Rozemyne finally understands what 'hastening the arrival of Winter' means.... as well as the retainers reaction to the healing ritual covering the whole of Alexandria...

Oh I forgot to say about Wilfred In this book he did look really relaxed, Charlotte literally had her hands on her head from all the stress that came from Rozemyne's disappearance and about how Wilfreid acted with the Royal Thashiwald I mean wasn't he educated to revere those above him? How could he be so careless in the way of speech....I mean OK you are relieved about your engagement being broken with one source of stress but do you have to put it like that? Him not even worring a little about Rozemyne disappearance actually talks volume about his relationship with her, all those close to her were feeling antsy to some extent but then he proceeds to say "Yeah lady Hannelore is the type to be real thoughtful and considerate. She doesn't get that there's nothing for her to worry about. Hartmut and the others say that Rozemyne is fine" And didn't notice how freezing the eyes of Rozemyne's retainers were Charlotte was literally screaming in her head, it's not NEEDEING to worry! You should worry about her regardless!! The boy is so clueless and I remember him blaming her about the different treatment he receive, I mean Charlotte did her utmost to support her sister and Ferdinand always protected her, Rozemyne is the type to give double what she receive so the boy got nothing because she got nothing I guess? (evil laugh) I was a bit surprised about how his retainers still had that arrogance in them, not even going to hear about what Brunilde had to say and even ridiculing her saying that she wasn't the aub wife yet Did Wilfred fail to convey that she is going to be his mother's ally? Brunilde in the end went to convey the message about the Royals to her since Wilfred servants didn't listen to her. Rozemyne's retainers aside, Charlotte wouldn't allow her retainers to be that rude since she know the inside story. And I am hoping Charlotte become the Aub one day and stop being cast aside! though the sweety always feels inferior in one way or another, I hope she'll stop comparing herself to others and Rozemyne. Hmm.... pretty sure I read somewhere in the WN that Ferdinand said he would negotiate with the teachers himself so Rozemyne could evaluate her in one-on-one exams. Her goal was to pass everything in one go. I believe that was when they took Eglantine to the Foundation by the library so she'd know the way, and they'd need her to grade the archduke candidate course. I think they also made her grade Rozemyne then and there on the redrawing of borders as after filling the foundation with the mana of the gods, she still had much, so they properly made her redraw the borders of Klassenberg, Dunkelfelger, the changed Drevanchel, and newly established Blumfelt and Corinzdaum. And Eglantine also graded the disposing of medals when she visited after the Alexandria entwickeln. As for Wilfiend, I really don't expect anything from him at this point. He really should have been made to exchange his place with Rozemyne for a few as they did before their debut... and shoved some home truths in the face... like why Rozemyne never socialized with the Leizegang? Wasn't it so she wouldn't be brought into their fold and threaten his claim to the Aub seat? or how he blames others for the mistakes HE made like Veronica did? Or how he tyrannizes others more and more like Veronica did as well? How he's still being spoiled even now? There are so many... Someone should have also taught him, and the whole former Veronica faction, about relations with girls, that they should go both ways, and that the more you care for a girl, the more she cares for you (exceptions aside). Don’t bully Wilfried that much, he’s not that bad. first thing first, he’s raised by his grandma to be puppet aub so he lack proper education to be proper aub from the beginning. For a teen a year or two is an equal to 10-20% of his lifetime which is alot. But he still manage to be honor student, gonna give him sore credit for that. Next, his head retainer who practically raise him came from grandma’s faction so after grandma got locked up and he try to make Wilfried become aub, he still use Veronica style which is teach him to take credit from sibling to gain power. Wilfried at first also object this method but in part 5, he got bullied so hard from Rosemine’s fan base, he have to demand some credit from Rosemyne to shut those old geezer up. And the reason he became like this is only “after” he ask Sylvester to make Rosemyne aub instead of him. And he got rejected without proper explanation due to Sylvester don’t dare telling the truth that Myne have no blood relation to the family at all. Wilfried himself realize that he’s inferior to Myne and accept that. He even want her to become aub to solve all mess but wouldn’t allow. And can only struggle in vain to gain Leisegang’s approval.
