It is said that Ruby and Cesare had a good sibinghood and Ruby doesn't remember anything before she was 15 and got reincarneted into Ruby. I think that Cesare was manipiulating her to thinking that they are good siblings so that she would relay on him, he would be the only person that she would have. He alredy was obsessively in love with her so when she was thinking that what a lovely brother she has, he would think of a way to make her fall in love with him too (and since the are not blood related she wouldn't mind that). One day when she found out (maybe he told her) she didn't think of him as a lover but a brother (because they had a good siblinghood), he was mad that his plan failed and started abuse Ruby. Maybe he even used the holy grail on her? (If I remember corectly, Ruby in one chapter was talking about somthing that the holy grail can destroy the divine core).
I'm not good with english so sorry if there are any kinds of spelling mistakes.

I know that we will never know ,but still WHAT IF it was true?
