For Isabella, I am sure she will be burned alive by commoners in the square, as Ari mentioned after the miscarriage that she wanted to see her corpse burning at the square with Simon, but in that conversation, she was already dead. It may be a subtle hint from the author.

But I agree with your prospective ending for Cesare can be possible. I think Cesare will definitely going to attempt a coup, he will be more wicked than FTL, but he will ultimately going to die saving Ari or Alphonso as part of his final atonement and quest for freedom.

Ari represents the most suppressed group of society: an illegitimate female child of a commoner who rises to the position of queen from a farm maid, saves Etruscans during Gallico invasion, mothers to poor, runs school for commoners, and hails from the local Etruscan population. She is the hope and dream of every section of society. Alphonso, the "golden prince," the strongest person in the entire central continent, holder of the holy sword as her husband, will only add to her glory. Ari and Alphonso will make each other shine, so the public's love and support for her will be maximum. When Ari and Alphonso will rose to power after the dark period of Syphilis, they will automatically receive immense love.

Therefore, Isabella will garner more resentment and hate from the public, who tried to harm their heavenly god-like king and queen...used black magic for that..will add oil to that fire

Due to her low self-esteem and past life experiences, Ari is very harsh on herself and sometimes unknowingly on Alphonso in judgment and reactions.

I really feel bad about Alphonso and Ari. Phillipo is about to violate the Etruscan border. The King is busy pleasing his young mistress and dealing with an inferiority complex regarding the husband of said mistress. The Grand Duke of North Cesare, whose responsibility is to protect the northern border, is enjoying Toranto in obsession with his brother's wife and hating his soon-to-be fiancée/wife Juliana. The Protector of Gaeta is also in Toranto, and his mother is trying to please the new mistress of Syphilis by making his daughter-in-law i.e. Gabriela ,her lady-in-waiting.

It is a country which have been left to at the wish of the heavenly Father.

I was thinking perhaps either he or Rubina will try to poison Alphonso, but there will be a mix up and he will be poisoned instead.
For Isabella I was guessing in the comment ending, but being burned as a witch because of black magic use is better.

    Chapter 580
Lord Delphinosa witnessed the corruption of Rubina during Queen Margerita's time, and he thought he had seen all kinds of evil, but Isabella is one step further (I feel sorry for Delphinosa). Delphinosa had thought Syphilis needed someone emotionally stable, not greedy, to take care of him. Syphilis felt despair that his youth was gone and asked Delphinosa to bring Isabella quickly. But Delphinosa delivered the news that Isabella had refused to come and she was packing.

Delphinosa was reminded of the Terevero representative, and he needed to practice for that meeting using what was already prepared manuscript. Syphilis said he didn't need it, he had been king for years, and all he had to do was treat them roughly and kick them out.

Syphilis ran towards Isabella's residence like a madman. He seemed to have rejuvenated suddenly. Delphinosa came behind him panting. Syphilis started calling her, but nobody responded, and seeing him, Delphinosa knocked on the side door. This was a heavily trafficked area, and everyone was embarrassed to see such situations where the king was waiting outside his mistress's residence, everyone walking fast with their heads down. Barbara opened the door without permission from Isabella. Augusto was inside and he went out of sight now, and Lord Delphinosa was waiting outside. Isabella had spread all her clothes and jewelry on the bed for packing. She came to the palace naked, but she had so many things to pack now. She said she is leaving; Syphilis doesn't love her now, and there is no proof of love. But Syphilis had gifted her a lot of dresses and luxury items, and Syphilis had given Isabella something every time to make her smile.

Syphilis ended up asking, 'Should I give you some proof that I love you to make you believe me?' Isabella smiled at it; victory was coming to her. Syphilis complained, 'No matter what I do, you would never believe me.' Isabella was startled and surprised by the sudden attack. Then Syphilis asked, 'Have you ever loved me for a moment?' Isabella had trained after seducing Ottavio and many people. Her acting skills had improved.

She complained, 'I have left everything for you and live alone in this palace, but Syphilis complained Ottavio is roaming around.' This fight continued. Syphilis became frustrated and said there is no one on his side except her, Delphinosa, including Rubina and Cesare. But he left out Alphonso from the list.

Isabella said, 'This is unfair, I have nothing, but you have Rubina by your side and can see Cesare whenever you want.' Syphilis became frustrated and said, 'What do you want me to do?' She said, 'Why don't you kill both and get rid of them?'"

Omg I did not expect that ending , so Rubina death is now basically confirmed to be murdered maybe by poisoning by Isabella and the king . Cesare probably going to be locked up somewhere I don’t see him dying just yet . Most likely will follow up with the coup after Rubina death but Isabella pushing her Luck on that but I know syphillis will do it just to have her and feel young again

Syphilis will keep Cesare alive to control Alphonso, but I think Rubina's death is getting confirmed with every episode. This scene is going to have major implications on the upcoming events. People's hatred for the mistress will only increase. Rubina will be the real sacrifice. It is happening in full public view ,people will have pure resentment against Syphilis.

Wow, your prediction came true. :blobscream:She aimed at Caesar first. I thought Isabella would ask him to make her a legal wife /the etruscan queen , not murder Caesar and Rubina. It's not that I really like those two.
But it seems that she has not realized that without César and Rubina, Alfonso no longer has anyone to bother him so much, and he will come to power faster with Ari at his side.:blob_sunglasses:
Or is she simply gauging the king's reaction?:hmm:
I agree, poor Delphianosa, I hope they give her his bonus, her gratification, his compensation in the end or that he changes sides. :blobsmilehappyeyes:He's put up with that trio for too long, the king doesn't pay him enough.
And did the king forget the Moor or not? I wanted him to do something to regain his youth. Did he do something with the moro?:hmm:

Then, he will rudely throw out Treverus's envoys. Let's see if they don't excommunicate him. No, maybe it won't happen. Nobody takes this new pope seriously. In the past, Everyone feared Ludovico I.

Once Rubina is dead it’s all over for Cesare , his mother was the one with the plans and schemes to get him on the throne even if some were stupid , syphillis was still dumb enough to fall for them . When she died in FTL , Cesare still had Ariadne who plans were almost flawless but in this life he got one one to advise him exept really Julia Helena who is just a love struck teen and even if she did have anything Cesare would not listen to her. Isabella might as well have crowned Alfonso and Ariadne herself because she just set in motion their rise to the throne

At least in this timeline he has never wanted the throne, I’m not altogether sure of the first timeline of what drove him to go after the throne.

What can I say? Isabella is always playing with something she should never touch. Whatever scene he created outside Isabella's room is just Pandora's box, leading to the downfall of Syphilis and igniting gossip in society. Whatever Syphilis does will be blamed on his mistress, and of course, Cesare will feel the heat.

I was expecting this kind of situation, but the author created something even better than I had imagined.

In the previous timeline, Syphilis married Alfonso to quell public dissatisfaction and agitation after the loss of the Gaeta region. Now, after this scene, people can openly express their dissatisfaction and anger towards Syphilis and his mistresses. To be honest, Syphilis will have to recognize Ari and Alfonso's marriage and invest Ari as a princess. Ari has strong support from the public, and Syphilis has already seen it during the miscarriage.

Syphilis will kill Rubina by assigning her responsibility for everything, as she is already on the negative opinion list due to Juliana's mess. She is the caretaker of the palace. Syphilis's behavior towards his mistress, the national treasury at its lowest, and the revelation of the real marriage deal... Rubina's death is confirmed."

Cesare indeed wanted the throne when the Allerman law was passed, especially in the initial stage of clearing the misunderstanding between Ari and Alphonso to snatch Ari from Alphonso The desire for the throne can arise in him all of a sudden. Cesare loves his self-gratification, and his feelings for Ari are part of this. Perhaps the death of Rubina ignite his desire for the throne to satisfy his love for self-gratification. In this timeline, Cesare once wanted to hang Ari with one rope to force her to accept him..Cesare behaviour is always unpredictable..

Cesare was the Margrave of the Pisano estate in the first timeline. Because of Ari, he accumulated a lot of wealth and a strong army. Ari planned everything for him and did risky actions herself. In the first timeline, Ari completely submitted herself to Cesare to make him king.

I personally think Ari can't reach that level of submission for Alphonso in this timeline because of the golden rule, Alphonso will never use Ari for any thing,He will never allow Ari to risky things and of course, things have already become complicated for her due to the whole engagement arc. Even in this timeline, she took risks to save Cesare from Syphilis and helped Cesare during gallico attack. Now, her body and soul are at risk of being destroyed on judgment day because of that and now has obsessive Cesare as gift.

I think in this timeline, Ari will become the empress and Alphonso the emperor of the entire central continent, along with being queen and king of Ertuscan respectively. They will start a new dynasty, a direct revenge to those who call her blood lowly. The entire central continent is somehow currently available in the Ertuscan kingdom as part of some plot, all thanks to Syphilis. Alphonso just has to seize control of it.

Cesare will attempt a coup, but there is a bigger plot waiting, involving figures like Barbara, Porto, Accereto, and the nobles of Rubina's side to make them empress and emperor..Cesare will not have that much screen time.If Dolphin island prophecy is true then just 1 year.

In the previous timeline, Cesare wanted the throne due to Rubina's death. When the Allerman law passed, he most probably expressed his desire for the throne, and Ari planned everything for him.

I think he might have asked for an affair with Isabella, and Isabella may have agreed to some demands, similar to what she did after marrying Ottavio and becoming the mistress of Syphilis. That is why he used to keep Ari half a step behind him, to show Isabella was only in his heart.

When Ari made his desire for the throne possible, he didn't want to betray her, but over time, as Ari started controlling things for him, he began to get frustrated with her because of his misogynistic character. When he met Isabella near the nunnery, his desire to marry her resurfaced, and he started justifying it with various reasons. With time, it got stronger. The only positive thing I find about Cesare is that he understands gratitude; whether he returns it or not is a different thing. (In this life also, when he thought about a coup, he thought he had to return the favor to Juliana for helping him in the coup).

Whatever hate Ari received from people after the coup was also frustration against Cesare and jealousy. In the engagement arc, because of constant rejection, his misogynistic character did not resurface. But if Ari had ended up with Cesare, she would have suffered more severely because, after getting her, with time, he would have become frustrated with her due to his misogynistic character.

I just want to say that even this Cesare is not different from the Cesare of the first timeline. Isabella dropped from the list of his obsessions due to the music scandal, and Ari entered in between because of being his brother's love interest, and her help during Gallico only made it stronger.

When Ari broke off the engagement, Cesare said, 'Why did Alphonso take everything from me: the world, the throne, and you?' His understanding of the world was always twisted.

In this timeline, also, the death of Rubina will trigger his desire for the throne. Since this time he does not have support like Ari, Juliana is just Larissa, the only best help he can give Cesare is in poisoning Alphonso. Cesare will get help from Gaultieri to do the coup. He will become more obsessed with Ari because he will miss Ari's help in his vulnerability during Gallico and when Syphilis wanted to kill him. Isabella will also manipulate him into doing the coup. He regreted sleeping with Isabella, but he will again going to get manipulated by her.(Because the author is showing a new aspect of Isabella's character, her complete understanding of Cesare's behavior, she will know when it is time to manipulate him.)

Maybe the spring ball festival of this time will make him seriously think about doing the coup because of a complex web of jealousy. But I hope Ari and Alphonso dance this time as official partners at the spring festival."

The death of rubina will definitely affect Cesare as her downfall will be his downfall and he will realize without his mother his father doesn’t hold that much love for him. Cesare will realize the only thing that will bring his survival and wealth will be the throne and he will then start planning the coup. Julia is not the brightest person and I can see her going along with Cesare and his Allie’s plans and she will become a pawn . Her part will definetly be to try to poison Alfonso but unlike the last timeline Alfonso won’t be tricked like he was with Ariadne . With Ariadne he was most likely in love with her and took the poison to protect the her from Cesare . Julia is a total stranger to him and not to mention Ariadne would recognize this as poison so it would not work. Cesare coup in this lifetime will fall apart , Julia will fail to poison Alfonso , the black knights will defeat Cesare own knights and Cesare will be most likely imprisoned. Also when the king got sick in FTL I think Ariadne mentioned that Cesare framed it as Alfonso posting him, was Cesare the one who actually poisoned him or was it syphillis just being ill .

    Chapter 581
Isabella basically wanted Rubina's status and privileges. Isabella changed herself to appear poor and pathetic as she didn't want to raise doubts in Syphilis. She complained that Rubina treated her very badly. She complained about how Syphilis and Rubina had many memories together. The year both laughed together, shared together, and built history together. The combination of her purple eyes created an elusive beauty that anyone could melt for. She said she could tolerate that Rubina hated her, but every time Rubina talked about their past, it stuck a thorn in her heart.

Syphilis can't turn back time. He felt like dying, even if the heavenly gods gave him the power to turn back time. Isabella was not present there, but Rubina never liked her time with Syphilis. She always wanted to erase her time with Syphilis. She was just fond of jewels, land, castle, title, and palace.

Syphilis asked her what she wanted. Did she want to kick Rubina out? Isabella said, "See, you still care about Rubina." Leo 3 never dreamt Isabella would take kicking Rubina and Cesare so seriously. He thought kicking out Rubina is excessive, as someone had to take care of the salaries of servants working in the palace and the tiles broken in the palace. She couldn't trust anyone (Rubina must have embezzled a lot of money).

Isabella then again did the drama of leaving and shouted, "This relationship forever would be unfair." Syphilis was crazy at this point that he still had not touched Isabella, and she wanted to leave. When Isabella appeared naked in his chamber, he felt is youth for the first time in the last four years

Syphilis said to Isabella not to leave and asked her "what she wanted as a token of love to believe in him, and she demanded the highest-ranking lady in his court. It was a puzzling statement. She thought he would use it in the future as she made her demand specific. She said if you don't trust me, kill my husband Ottavio, and after his death, she would have no place to leave.

Syphilis was happy, as Isabella had given her permission to kill Ottavio and allowed kiss. Syphilis cooled down after seeing she had the worst body, but the body is currently not a problem, as this is a battle to keep Isabella, and he has to win it.

Terevero's envoy was waiting, and Syphilis arrived two hours late, making an excuse that he had to do some urgent work. It was disrespectful to them, but they tolerated it as they came with a demand for help. Dinner was served. Priest Cecilio wanted to go to the bathroom. There, he heard gossip from the servants and came to know why Syphilis came late. He wanted to pretend, but he couldn't ignore his anger because he made a god representative wait for his mistress's plaything.

(It looks like Ottavio will meet the same fate as Alphonso. Terevero will force Syphilis to send troops to help Terevero. Alphonso will win the battle, and his power will rise, forcing Syphilis to face his own baggage, which he collected after the death of Queen Margerita.)

Just what I thought, this woman asked him to make her queen. What the fuck.!!! This bitch doesn't give up. Someone must already put her to sleep. How annoying it is that she stays in the story until the end because she is one of the main antagonistic characters.:blobpopcorn_two:
Seeing how she asked the king to kill her husband made me think that she probably asked or hinted at Caesar the same thing in the first timeline.
Too bad, ruining Octavio, being unfaithful to him, and almost killing his sister wasn't enough for her. Octavio's poor daughter could be orphaned.:blob_teary:
But frankly, can she marry the king as a widow? I think it is dificult. It seems to me that in that era in which the novel is set, women could not marry more than once. Or am I wrong ?:hmm:
Or, how will she do? She can no longer even use " the fact that her first marriage was not consummated " as an EXCUSE. She has a one child.

If it were to come out that Alfonso, in the first timeline, took poison even after knowing that Ari was offering her poisoned sanguinachio dolche just because he had feelings for her, it would be the biggest shock for Ari. It will soon be revealed as the story progresses, but I believe Alfonso had feelings for Ari.

As expected, Syphilis is going to have huge trouble with the holy emperor. The holy emperor, who is neutral now, will come in direct support of Alfonso. Losing confidence from the holy emperor means losing support of the people, so excommunication can be possible. The killing of Ottavio is going to further damage the reputation of Syphilis. By the time Isabella will demand the queen position/Rubina position, his power will be lowest.

The downfall of Syphilis has now started. That is why I am expecting Syphilis will get bedridden in Toranto because of so much negative pressure he will face in Toranto.

Isabella's next target is going to be Cesare. After the death of Rubina, he will get more obsessive about Ari and will become more vulnerable to manipulation regarding Ari. Isabella will never like that her sister has become crown princess and she has lost Cesare to Juliana, lost her husband, and is trapped with an old syphilitic person. The biggest regret of Cesare is that he got manipulated by Isabella and again he is going to get manipulated by Isabella.

What happened to Octavio's sister after she was kicked out by her husband? Would she be able to take care of Giovanna? :\

It really sounds like syphilis ate the King's brain away. He needs to face justice...soon!

Syphilis and Cesare are almost similar in character. Cesare is like a pro version of Syphilis. When I read today's chapter, I just replaced Syphilis with Cesare and Rubina with Ari for the first timeline. Then, I had a real feeling of how Isabella would have manipulated Cesare using his feelings for her to kill Ari and use Ari's left ring finger in the first timeline.

She can actually.Pope Borgia actually used this one for her daughter in real life.
