She might have done it in her later years, but when I was younger, she was surprisingly supportive of my fan fiction. I’ve never deleted the embarrassingly bad self insert fic I wrote at 15 because her encouraging comments are still there… Of course, once I started writing BL, I never told her about my fanfics again. ╮(￣▽￣"")╭

Also, the very first fanfic I wrote was “The Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby Doo” fanfic at 8. My teachers were concerned I was a troubled child because I was writing about “demon boxes,” and since mom hadn’t watched the show either, she was just as concerned. Boy, did I get grilled over that story, to my immense confusion.
