So... I've seen many things on [Original Compositions] and I thought, "can't we have one or a few chapters where at least 3 compositions are combined?" and so, I want to ask you, dear NUF writers, to give your opinion on this. ... ... ...
Disaster... And it wasn't easy to combine.... And more importantly... No time... But the biggest hurdle is.. Laziness... XD..
1. Disaster is what I want. 2. We'll figure it out. How hard can it be? (Flag) 3. Then just do it on Google Drive. Everyone could edit it when they have time. 4. Laziness is all up to you. I just want to make a start. Whether it finishes or not don't really matter to me. (I know that doesn't sound motivating) I just want to see, read, be surprised, etc.
Most of our stories are set in different worlds, and has different elements, how do you propose a crossover?
Its not like the multiverse thing, a problem in time space, or a bored god cant make different universe characters meet and have fun, ne! just for a special... something like a game calling different universe Mcs
Wow! Will you look at that? Hit by truck-kun, reincarnated and have to dethrone @Satan . Most of the major plot is there.
I'll do it when I have free time, maybe I'll get @TheGirlWhoWearsGlasses and @SlashCrit to combine their fic with mine when our fic get to the later parts
If anyone wants to, I suggest the authors are writing of a similar theme. As in, if one is in a fantasy world, the other should too. If one is in a wuxia world, don't take one from a xianxia world. Or science fiction, modern, etc. It's hard to mix if there's no common ground. It's also best if the world's power level are similar. If one fantasy already have characters easily blasting mountains apart, the other fantasy worlds should be able to too. Though, if one Original mainly focuses around a few small villages, it's still possible to mash them together. One is just not as exposed. With that, then you can either mashup a new continent where places from each Original overlaps/connects, or make a whole new similar world. Example would be in Original 1, it mainly revolved around 3 cities and similarly it's 1 country and 3 countries for Original 2 and 3. Then, all you need to do is either toss them all as different countries but connected or overlap them. The 3 cities in Original 1 actually lies in Original 2, but a bit isolated compared to where the story mainly took place in Original 2. As for the characters, I think it's best to select a time and period with each Original. As in, base the crossover on up to the latest chapters of each Original or the first 10 chapters of each Original. That way, it's easier to make up something since there's a basis. And with that, you don't need to follow through with the later chapters of each Original, if you don't want to. You can still pull characters in later; I just think it's easier to start with a basis. Then you need to think of who is the actual protagonist. One from the Originals? Or a brand new one that interacts with characters in those Originals. If it's a brand new one, it might be easier to just get a non-associated author to write it. Good luck! Sounds fun.
Many ways. But I plan to do something like MMSF and MMBN. They got someone to connect the two worlds. Uh... hit by a truck in a fantasy world? That's @qzty's work. First of all, I am the only Plebian. And secondly, we did.
