    Mercy Thompson. By Patricia B.
Werewolf story in a modern ( 2000s) world.

Romance only becomes relevant on later vol. But the volumes are mostly mystery solving stuff.

    Btw.
Is giving me a headache when I read it :p (cause hooo boi... didn't you use any dots or comas for that long sentence there....)

Fantasy personally I would recommend the King Killer Chronicles.

As for Dark Fantasy I suppose the legend of Drizzt is pretty good

Sci Fi Columbus Day was great

and for the hell of it the Bobiverse series on audible is awesome

If you read the synopsis. There's vampire, werewolf, coyote, ghosts, faes... there is a variety of them.

But if you don't like mystery and romance, with some parts getting real dark. You can just ignore this.

tldr : its like scobby doo i guess

me too. i wanted him and that one assassin chick to end up together. They both had a hard life and i wont judge her for what she was made to do to survive. Kinda felt she was hated too much for something she couldn't really control either, what with that earing and whatnot. Still the ending felt...sorta right? It was left kinda open, so anything is still possible. I was just wondering how he would react if that chick ever told him of her suspicions about that duke's wife. Might do something extreme.

personally my favorite was the god-king. He was such a....good villain? Like the kind you love to hate. Sad what happened to that one girl though, tho that scene right before she offed herself was pretty hot. Heh. Guess he regretted THAT later on, didn't he?

Hmmm... Well here goes my recomendations:
Good Intentions Series by Elliot Kay. (Urban paranormal, Erotic)
Daniel Black Series by E. Willian Brown (Transported Fantasy, Erotic)
Poor Man's Figth by Elliot Kay. (Military Sci-fi)
Old Man's War by Jhon Scalzi (Military Sci-fi)
The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne (Urban Paranormal)
They are all in ebook format, but highly enjoyable.

For fantasy, try the Old Kingdom Trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen) by Garth Nix. It's categorized as Young Adult, but it's plenty dark enough that my college and post-college friends liked it.

The MC comes from a family line of necromancers. But instead of raising the dead, their mission is to bring them back to rest.

+1 on the suggestion for Dune by Frank Herbert and the fantasy books by Raymond E Feist.
