So how addicted are you to your electronic devices? Can you think of life without your cellphone? Your gaming console? Maybe your laptop? I once thought if I was sent to live in a little cottage in the middle of nowhere for a month I'll manage it ( the idea went around facebook a couple of times). But recently, I realize I was probably wrong. Dead wrong. So one unfortunate day, my mom gave my dad her cellphone cause he needed to call someone. We happened to be cleaning our house that day. My mom and I like to clean with our cellphones playing music and the radio. Personally for me I like to take occasional break playing on my phone. My mom borrowed my phone to call my little brother, then she never return it. Instead she was listening to her radio on my phone while cleaning out in the backyard. I was in the house cleaning, waiting for my phone until I heard her radio. Suddenly, I feel very angry. I was angry that she took my phone for her own personal pleasure. It was my phone! I didn't let her borrow it for that purpose. I quickly finish what I was doing and went outside to get my phone back. Boy, I felt so happy just getting my baby back. Then, I questioned myself. It was just a phone. Why did I have to be angry about it? I know, I'm addicted. It is not just my baby, it's like my soul mate.
Well my phone isn't a big issue but if it was my desktop... Shit hits the fan. Phones are cheaper compared to desktops. I need to read or play games everyday or I get restless. HURRAY IM VERY VERY VERY ADDICTED TO ELECTRONICS. My life is uneventful so I need electronics to entertain me. If my life was eventful I probably would not need it as I would be too busy.
I use my electronic devices almost all the time. I can, however, live without them. It's just that I have to use my laptop and phone for university, work and social events. Taking breaks from my electronics is nice though, I generally do so 30-45 minutes before I go to bed. No electronics.
im in a love hate relationship with my wifi and laptop desu wifi chan keeps trying to murder laptop chan desu its hard being popular desu
The only thing I actually really use my phone for is to contact people and read light novels to be honest and taking away my phone is tantamount to taking away my light novels so I definitely cannot live without a phone...
I know I'm addicted due to the fact I feel bored all the time that I don't have something to read and now due to getting into e-books I always carry my phone for my books lol.
The only electronic I need are fan, even if every other electronic disappear, i'll still happy if there's a fan by my side. Other thing like phone, computer,tv,etc are just entertainment that replaceable so i'm not to attached to other electronic other than fan. (Maybe fridge is good too, but î didn't use it that much)
It's very hard to put a label on something so integrated with modern life. Personally, I use my phone the most, and even then it's as a filler between doing stuff. It's either check something on the phone or stare at a wall until the next 'thing' comes up in my day. Recently went like 7-8 months without using any electronic devices, so it built a sort of disconnect.
hmm for now if you take internet from me IDK what I should do~ cuz well~ I sit on front of computer while see some people play and passing around~ as for phone no problem~ it just troublesome for people to contact me but they know where to find or person who have idea where I am~ other ~ hmm nope don't use any~
I rely heavily on my laptop and phone. I can live without both, as long as nobody else is touching them. Besides, laptops and phones don't quibble and nag, unlike real people.
Wifi+electronics I don't really feel the need to use my phone or pc/laptop if the net is down. However, i do feel that electronics are now an integral part of my life. I even carry my phone/tablet when i have to poop.
I don't have a phone right now. I use a tablet to read in bed. Otherwise I use a desktop computer. If I'm outside the house, I'm never using electronics. Hmm, but damn is it annoying when I get lost or when I'm trying to meet up with someone. I need to go buy a new cellphone sometime soon. Maybe for that reason it's not so hard to imagine myself without them for a while. I'd be bored, but I can find other things to do. But I still use them alot everyday, so I'm addicted on some level. So I picked option 2
Considering I need my electronic device for reading, one of my main activities recently, I would say I am 8/10. Excluding Reading, I would say I am 6/10
The only reason I am always in front of Laptop or Phone is because I always read something. Before the laptop or handphone age, there will be always a book in my hand. I read most of the books in my school library...
