I don’t remember that much about it except that the MC is killed by those he trusted and then I believe that he is sent back in time, his priest companion remember what happened or notices the hero is back and promises to keep him safe this time to herself (a bit of yandere feel on her) they didn’t get together as far as I read. I also believe it was a JP novel.

Nidome no Yuusha, but the priestess (saint) wanted him dead because he had been "polluted" by the Demon Queen, though the latest raws might suggest otherwise read them they are good.
Seems a bit like NnY, but I don't really know about any priests. Although, I'm curious when does he meet the demon queen, and is there any romance with her? Or will the yandere bunny interfere?
I thought it was that one but it’s not what differs is that, might remember a bit wrongly, MC saves the world but is betrayed and killed by his companions. However one of them I believe it was the priestess, was kept in the dark about the plot cause she liked him (MC not aware, I believe he liked one of the betrayers instead). Then he travels back in time (this part is a bit fuzzy) and the priestess somehow dreams/remembers everything like the MC and goes screw the world I wanna help the hero (with some yandere feel to the dialogue). Haven’t read further then the translation but my guess is Buxxy rabbit girl, loli half-elf and mature demon queen are the semi-confirmed harem members so far. Can’t say no to that but I haven’t read much from royalroad except for everyone loves large chests As mentioned I don’t believe NnY is the one, I did just reread the translated bits, what I remember is the priestess/saintess is introduced fairly early and the 40ish chapters that are translated for NnY she’s not even introduced yet except for one sentence in the prologue, I will have a look at the NnY raws in a day or two and yeah I thinks it’s a great read.
