Not true, being a Villain is just so much more fun - I mean even now, most MCs are more Villain then Hero because they're protecting their own interests at times.
How good is the hero? And how evil is the villain? Allied forces during ww2 are considered heroes and the good guys, yet they fire bombed both german and japanese cities. When the enigma machine was decoded they had to let a lot of german attack true to so that they wouldn't know that it was decoded and so save more lives in the end. The U.S . prob'ly dropped the nukes with out there being a need for it. Pablo escobar build hospitals/schools in poor neighborhoods to get the loyalty of the residents. Gandhi viewed blacks as inferior, but he's still liked as sage/saint/holy man. So please define the limits of what you think a hero could do and for the villain.
If helping a random passerby without expending too much effort can be called a hero, then sure. I'm not into comitting crimes and doing things that go against my morals.
If it means I can be a villain and send out my henchmen while I sit at home on NU and games, then I'll be the first in line.
Villain . I do like saving a people . But i dont want take responsibility as a hero . It was great burden for me . I will save only myself when situation turn bad
Villain is always killed by the hero So ofcourse i rather be a hero And i can't imagine myself doing evil things like murder, robery, and rape.
Hero or Villain.....It truly depends on your point of view. For example, scientist A is researching how to cure something let's say cancer via some method and some how creates monsters(most are killed by the guards but some escaped) then superhuman B comes along kills the monsters and accuses scientist A of creating monsters under the pretense of curing cancer would scientist A be considered a villain?
It's villain fate to be killed by hero And it's hero fate to struggling near border between life and death. Pick your choice
lets be honest. the poll doesn't specify the situation of the two, the hero could be made into a semi-slave unable to go against someone's orders in the case of say a hero summoning, a villain could be free to run around while the hero is on a chain. I'd pick villain. Can't beat freedom my dude. Obligations are gross, Requirements are gross, Restrictions are gross, naps are nice.
Neither, I would follow my own beliefs and interests. If I feel that I want to save someone, then I will, if someone pisses me off I want to kill them, then I will. If someone betrays me then I'll take my revenge. If someone calls for help and I'm nearby then I might help.
Depends on how many adversaries the other side would throw at me and what they'd do to me if they caught me. If it's something like JP heroes and CN villains i'm definitely not going against the villains.
Here's the thing about I'm concerned about being a hero, they almost always have a tragic past that pushed them to the path of heroism, like a close family member(s) or lover dying due to the flames of war. Yeah, that's a no for me dawg. Being a villain is a terrible thing as well since they rarely win. That's like the occupation with the highest mortality rate ever. So I would prefer to be someone away from the battlefield yet still hold a great deal of power, enough so I can comfortably live my life in leisure, life of a politician it is then.
