When people rate 1 stars

For some people, BL = automatic 1 star without even reading >:\
Rape also triggers people to give 1 star, no matter how the story portrays it or deals with it -_-
Any hint of nationalism can also = 1 star XD
And some people just like to troll.
So I guess 1 stars are kind of inevitable for every series, and that's just how I take it. This kinda sucks when the novel doesn't have a lot of ratings since it pulls down the average a lot, but it won't matter as much in the long run >_<

 

Yeah, many people hate BL. For me as long as the story good why not?, But I always see 1 star 1 chp for BL
Rape is kinda mixed, and controversional so..., well it is depend on the story I guess, freedom of writing? as long as they can distinguish fantasy and reality

And 1 star is usually for NTR.
Too slow paced story are also 1 star

 

As someone who has translated NTR, I feel like I just look forward to anything above 3 in my other "normal" projects now. No use getting sad about things when you can have no self confidence and feel good about a 3 star

 

being on wordpress, just seeing the view stats is pretty encouraging. I do it because the novel pleases me and being able to read it in understandable english is nearly enough of a reason for me to continue TL, knowing other people are also enjoying/interested in it only make it more encouraging. try not to bother yourself too much with NU stats i guess

 

Rip fellow BL translators... the one stars come as soon as chapter 1 is uploaded

 

I'm on a particular policy of not give star if they'll be lower than 3, If I feel that the novel is too bad or problematic, with lots of plot hole, but the translation team did a good job or at least tried I give 3 saying my original grade on comments. I like too always point that the problem wasn't the translation.
