Isn't that the grey-haired wizard/mage/whatever-it-is who's been trying to trick MCs from the beginning? He was probably returning from his disguise (as the little boy who invited FL and ML to watch the performance IMO cause he basically repeats what the little chap said to them in ch 30) I'm just speculating though. Would be great if someone who has read the novel could confirm
Well she is the foreign princess that will marry the crown prince. People who'd want to see her dead would most likely be either other noble families who's daughter now will not marry the crown prince (so they cannot gain more influence and also their daughter is maybe being very annoying about it), nobles who do not want to have the future generation of royals to have a blood-line tainted with foreign blood, or nobles who would like to see the conflict between these two countries continiue (maybe because they have a financial interest in war), and probably many other parties as well.
I honestly don’t think it’s the mage but they’re too similar. and also I really want to read the novel since it’s already finished (it even has a book). What I do know about the novel is that at the ending, they will get married.
