Who else could it be but the elusive son of the First Princess? Spoiler the dragon is Brad 3. From your reply, it seems that you haven't re-read ch 53 again. There are many changes since I got an editor. So in that chapter, after Eduart glanced at Elric, the next line came from Elric not Eduart. Anyway, just reread that chapter, because there is also an additional scene from vol. 2 LN. Her name is Chloe, but yes, it seems she was prepared to attack Erica if she said she read the diary. Claude appeared in the last two chapters of the fifth arc, but in Eduart's flashback. So he hasn't actually appear in the present time.
Not yet, the last time it was said that it would be released after the 5th arc ends. There is still one more chapter to go till the 5th arc ends at this point.

The news is this: Erica is getting a manga which will start on 25th June, and will be illustrated by https://twitter.com/izosan Aanndd supposedly, the final arc will begin to be released either this week or the beginning of June. So look forward to it!
Yep, but since we don't know the details of that route, perhaps the incidents for that routes were already prevented accidentally by Erica's actions (and the butterfly effects that were caused by that) . Or, since the root of all the incidents is Cain, they all will be solved once Erica and the gang kill him once and for all. Either way, we can only see how the author will wrap up all the plot points in one arc.
I'm looking forward to the final arc~! In the latest arc, the original Erica was going to wear the costume (what is the significance of this costume, why the one who wore it at the festival get kidnapped?) and get kidnapped, but since Chloe presumably didn't come or didn't agree to return, she would then be killed and her body was washed in the river.. right? I am curious on all the death situation in all routes, and why does it have to involve her specifically dying in every route. Because she is her mother's daughter? Suspicious.
Oh I know the answer to your first question. This is a behind-the-scene story from the author's brother. So in the original game, Harold (after his family was destroyed due to the silver vein fraud) was taken in by Harlan and and became his subordinate. In the original game, he would be the one that invented guns for Lucanrant and instead of wands he used dual guns with anti-magic bullets as his preferred weapon. And he was tasked by Harlan to kidnap Chloe. Unplanned by Harlan, Harold actually became attached to Chloe so he betrayed Harlan by kidnapping Erica (and getting revenge on Erica in the meantime) instead of Chloe. I guess, since Erica was not important and not the one Harlan wanted, he killed Erica. In the original game, the third scenario's climax was supposed to be Harold vs Harlan disciple vs master battle scene. So the 'monster' in the third scenario was the human Harlan all along.
