Actually, I thought that Kiera's mom was a victim of all of the family's doing. Or why would Kiera's mom marry a married man(Duke)? Most people at this era forced their children to get married for their own gain. So it was Keira's mother's family's fault. (Keira's Maternal Grandparents!) Keira's mom was just forced to get married to the Duke, and the Duke being a tsundere jerk and a scum- thought that everything was Keira's mother's scheme. (But again on second thought, why would the Duke F*CK Keira's mother then?) Other than that– Keira's mother was a victim of all of this sh*t. Lady, you married the wrong man!
@I_am_one_Hell_of_a_Butler From the manga she's looking to enlist her maternal grandfather as an ally. Should be fun to see how that works out. It also raises the question of where was he in TL 1 when Cosette was undoing all his hard work.
I If I go off my theory that the second wife's family were crooks, it could be that the family forced the duke to marry the MC's mum. Like how in the cliches where the woman drugs the man and sleeps with him then forces him to marry them because she got pregnant with his child. I'm guessing the wife might've been madly in love with the duke before. I kinda see what youre getting at, but then again it would be very out of character of him to force a woman he didn't love to marry him if he stayed neutral most his life. It just doesnt feel like something he'd do.
Absolutely r8 plus revenge is not possible for everyone or to be taken on someone very strong like duke kiara is way 2 much naive girl even people's around her either simple or against her so yes when u want revenge u should have some trustworthy clever allies and those Knights are exactly not someone against duke so forget about revenge thing from kiara is better.
I think the relationship between Kiara and her little brother is the nicest part of the story, even if they have such an indifferent father they are very close.
I'm reserving my final judgement until the full story gets out, but you guys do make an interesting point. One thing I'm liking about this story so far is that she's not taking revenge on her father not because she's forgiven him, but that he genuinely does not matter to her anymore and she's out there trying to live her best life.

Yeah... Keira and her maternal grandfather are a possible ally, but I think being entangled with him would only be dangerous. The Duke detests the grandpa, and getting onto the Duke's bad side is quite dangerous. Maybe working with the grandpa under the shadows? I don't think so, Kiera is being watched 24-7. So I consider following the- IGNORE the Duke route! Or Assassination or Torture Route would work too!
I read the entire thread but there are no spoilers about how the MC dealt with Cossette when she appeared in timeline 2. Please spoil me on that one thing! Thanks in advance!
