Latest chapter summary (I MTL but I think I understood what happened): After the King tucks Nina in his bed goes to work and asks what’s the meaning of “I’ll do everything”. Sabina explains that it means Nina will do whatever he orders without asking questions. Btw, Sabina is aware of the way Nina thinks -King uses her as a shield so that people won’t take an action against the Saintess-. After Nina wakes up King says she can’t go back to her room. Probably they’re still searching her room since he take her out suddenly. When Nina asks where she can go, King takes her to Saintess’ room. But Saintess is taking a walk so she’s not there. Then he says he needs to go. While Nina is waiting for Saintess, she looks at mirror and sees her messy appearance. She goes crazy because King carried her (again), she looks haggard and it probably will fuel up rumours. Then she thinks she already gave up her clean reputation. Anyway then she hears a scream, tries to understand what’s happening and sees the fire column created by king. She’s afraid because cause of the commotion may be Saintess and if someone helped her instead of her (originally Nina and Grand Duke were supposed to help her run away). She’s probably right about her concern because King carries Saintess (who’s wearing maid clothes) and says she was trying to run away. Also I wonder when ML fell for her or realised his feelings for Nina. Latest chapters made me think Nina is starting to have feelings for King but I don’t want Nina to fall for him before he does. First TL and MLs were discussed a lot but nothing about this TL.
I want to ask: 1. Is OG Nina only close to saintess and beato? 2. Dio, Leo, and Alec only close to Nina in the second life right? 3. does the king know nina's power (which can make him comfortable when touched by nina) since OG nina or only happened in nina's second life? ..... My current opinion: Actually I'm a bit disappointed, why mc fall in love with ml (chapter 54 manhwa) when mc herself knows that ml only uses her as a refresher (and we dont know the reason she fall for him, if you say because he helped nina, at the same time he always suspect nina as a spy and prioritize saintess life over her)(well if I were Nina, king will be the last man who I fell in love with). And how King released the Saintess while he depending on her to relieve his pain? Saintess tried to run away but still being chased by King, King wanted Nina to always be by his side, while King knew that Nina and Saintess's power would clash. why not make the ending Nina and Saintess marry the same man. Haha (I know, I'll get the answer in the next episodes, but I just want to rant about it) In my view, the king is selfish, he wants Nina and Saintess to be by his side, not because of love, but because they both can relieve his pain, and he doesn't want to let Nina go, but (for now) he just thinks Nina isn't as important as Saintess, and would choose Saintess if he had to choose between them. This is what makes me feel heavy Nina paired with the King.
In the raws, I saw that Nina was accused of poisoning the saintess. Was it the the head maid's niece who did it? or Was it the saintess' plan so she could escape by wearing a maid outfit?
:sushi_patate::sushi_patate::sushi_patate::sushi_patate: could someone give me the summary? after the 46th chapter I got bored but I still want to go up as the story continues ...
I just got into the series and have read up to the latest manhwa chapt, just wanted to share my though…. But after reading all the spoiler.. definitely dropping this, i didnt get a good feeling as the story goes on, now it turns out the whole plot is making me uncomfortable. I don’t really blame anyone for what happen in the 1st timeline, but i still rather wish for Nina to have nothing to do with those people, it disgust me. (I know that is what making this story a story, but still…) My first impression of this story is, i never thought anyone as a potential ml, maybe because i saw mc as a child, and like there is no way. I dont like the ml being the ml, i have always feel that the king will be the ml, but still the whole idea of making him an ml is something i cant digest. Not that i see anyone suitable tho. And i dont get, why would nina fall for him? I just dont get it. Its a bit funny, but at first, i thought the king/ml would adopt mc as his daughter (that just how young and large their age gap, i initially though). I even thought that mc might be the child of ml and the saint, but from some reason trap in the past. I mean, look at her feature, red eye like ml, platinum blonde like saint. That is why i never see the king or any other as ml… haha Spoiler: I hate the ml… The reason why i can’t like him? - according to the 1st TL, he is one of the people who is responsible for mc’s death. And what i dont like at all is how the reason is because the women he loved (the saint). That is why i dont see him as ml at all when he first appeared. I really cant digest that he love nina now, yeah yeah there are that reincarnation thing about past king and his lover thingy, but i still hate it. - isnt he practically a womanizer? Even the mls from other novel who have history of womanizing or go sleep here and there, never really putting two women in a shackle at the same time. Isnt that what he do right now? (I know he didnt really have sex drive, but still) He hold into the saint because his usefulness, held onto mc because him being addicted….. - and what did he ask for her? To just stay? How could someone even live with such uncertainty, i know concubine usually live like that, just stay by the king side and live like that. He dont even know what relationship he want, he see anything precious to him more like a ‘thing’. - i just dont like the scene like, when ml sleep with mc, and saint too (like the three of them in bed). Or when ml talking about him addicted to mc, the saint was sleeping next to him. That position just make me uncomfortable, he talks like that while some women next to him! I know he didnt really do anything, i still dont like it (im totally conservative about it) - and i hate long hair man… (haha) i hate hit so much, that i glad he has long hair, so i wont have any lingering feeling for him. (Like thinking its a pity that he is handsome, yet i dont like him. I can hate both his appearance and his situation).
True, thank goodness I'm reading the spoilers here so I know I will not be wasting my time reading this. I thought this novel/manhwa is good but now, I can't.
The art is so nice, i dont like the story but i keep reading for the art, hope to read some manhwa has similar art. Honestly i hate all characters in novel except nina and the king brother
Imagine being Nina, a disposable pawn of the church. Brainwashed to always carry a locket with her allegedly mother's hair not knowing it has spell on it. And Church in almost all literary depictions are accurately fucked up, imo.
My point was, the characters from TL1 and TL2 are different people. You can't blame them for the "crimes" of the other, because they never committed them.
