Reading this chapter really establish the idea that Psyche is the one who will deal with the people while Medea will be the one that deals with the politics for me. Both of these aspect are equally important for a country. Unfortunately for the empire, these two aspects are currently in a bad shape so Medea and Psyche are here to try and improve the situation.
What do you think is Medea’s plan here? I have been following her actions for a few chapters but can't seem to figure it out. Looks like she purposely distracted the knight's to start a fire. And what does Eros want from queen Othilei? Does he want to frame her or want to control her? I also thought that maybe he might try to frame Psyche because of her reputation in the ordination and also because narratively, she isn't involved with the Othilei people like the other main characters but it doesn't look like the case here.
Im planning to read the manwha, but can someone who read the novel tell me if its close to the end?I dont want to read it now if will take like a whole year to it to be finished XD
Somehow it feels like it was Heli the one who managed to let the knights know that Psyche would still bring the donations to the same place. I imagine Medea and the queen of Othilei could have plotted to attack the houses where the othilean immigrants were staying at, in order to push the blame of the destruction of the wall away from the othileans, while hopefully making sure that there will be no casualties and the people stay mostly unharmed.
There is no novel , but in my opinion, the wait for the chapters is worth it. The art is different from many manhwas I've read, the character development of the protagonists is amazing, the villain is not dumb like most manhwa villains, the story also has some references with the characters' names, colors and even flowers (the which I think is very different ). I have a certain confidence in the author, so I think there might be a satisfying ending to this whole story
Once you’ve read enough you will finally understands the character and their reasoning, there is no proper excuse to hate medea nor psyche. Psyche was manipulated and lied to her whole life and medea was never loved by her parents and was abused. She was manipulated into thinking that her only purpose is to get in a “history book” that’s why she tried so hard to be a crown Princess. Everything she have worked so hard for goes to waste when psyche agreed to be the crown Princess, she felt betrayed and after that her nanny the only mother figure in her life was killed because she didn’t become the crown Princess. For psyche her mom was a crazy god believe and told her not to betray him ever and do everything he said. When the crown prince “saved” her from the basement she thought he was a god and even when she didn’t want to take the crown Princess position she couldn’t bring herself to because she would “betray god” and she feared she would get cursed like what her mother said
Medea is just helping the Othilei's people. I agree with @Pocchi Reveluv's comment. Psyche wanted to donate her gifts and Medea sent Helio to Psyche to ask for help. The main purpose of telling Psyche to donate in that area is to distract the imperial knights. As the knights will be busy helping Psyche, she will reach her destination without any troubles. A coin was given to that little girl so that she can inform the man(I think he is an informant) and that man will inform the imperial knights about the donation event. The scapegoat for the explosion is the Othilei's queen. It is clear in chapter 108, his main target is the queen. Why Eros is doing this is still a mystery. Recent chapters are showing hints that Psyche is connected with the Othilei dukedom. My hunch is that these all incidents are interlinked and the curtains are going to be removed from Psyche's past. It's an upcoming chapter.
An interview of the author although she doesn't talk about YT here: https://t.co/5n36XnI45L Source: Twitter P. S- Sam is gorgeous. I see how Medea and Psyche get their looks.
It's upcoming chapter. @aiheli Sorry for wrong information. I thought these chapters are upcoming chapters. @Janu123 So these side chapters will not be included in the main story?
So the game is here and these are Your Throne characters from the game. From what is have seen from Twitter, the game have some old scenes and dialogues from the webtoon but they also add some new scenes and dialogue as well. And I am not sure about this info but it looks like we will be playing as a totally new character? ( I am not sure about this though…) Medea in the game really remind me of FL in “ actually I was the real one” Also this is Pell wearing the full Pope ( or is it Cardinal) outfit. Let me just laugh at this for a moment.
Does he know that Medea was behind the fire explosion? Psyche and Medea look very beautiful. Perion looks weird with long hair Helio is the only character who looks exactly the same as his webtoon counterpart. A theory: I think the reason why Psyche started bleeding in the ordination ceremony was because she was overwhelmed by negative emotions? The people called her a monster, she was constantly anxious about it and also about how to save so many people. I remember a part where she tried to heal her wound after her encounter with Eros as Medea where he cheated on her. It greatly enraged her and that's when we see her destructive powers for the first time. We get a flash back where her mother always told her to have positive emotions and never have any negative emotions coz if she does.. Then we are directly shown this panel: I think it relates to the incident which we are later shown in the flash back where she first met Eros. I assumed that the blood that we see here is other people's blood as she injured those people but it could have been hers too as she got overwhelmed by negative emotions. (something similar to what happened in ep 100) There's a possibility that she didn't injure them but was involved in that incident and something happened which made her feel terrible. Since they were very bad memories, she repressed them and eventually forgot about them. Ep 33-34 was her breaking point. She was so infuriated that even Medea felt her anger on Psyche's body. We see Psyche face the reality after these episodes and accept that Eros is irredeemable. Then we see her breakup with Eros and use her destructive powers at will. Psyche using her destructive powers can be a metaphor that she's no longer innocent and a person who can be fooled easily. Her using both her powers can signify that she's still a good person but she also knows her reality. Her divinity might be two sides of a same coin. If she feels positive then she can heal but if she feels negative, then it can destroy or take a toll on her health. It also explains why her parents locked her up her entire life in a basement so that she doesn't meet bad people. (which is an irony coz the person they handed their daughter to made her feel the most negative emotions) If this is true then Psyche needs to find a way where her destructive powers won't harm her but it can be something she can bring completely under her control.
