I'm like two years too late for this thread, but I MTL-ed the epilogue just so I could know more. Spoiler And I mostly just want to talk about it. The ending is so bitter. It seems like she was already dying and might have wanted to lead people away from Atlas and her daughter. But she definitely didn't want to die in front of them. She gets burned at the stake, except she doesn't burn because of her magic and instead she gets stabbed with spears to death. It's mentioned that she got her wish and didn't die in front of them. Altas holds their daughter back and her daughter keeps asking for her. He also denies that he is her father. It's implied it's because he's a magician and he doesn't want her to also be implicated. It's also mentioned that he disappears after a few years. I hope that helped anyone who stumbled onto this thread.
