recently i observed that after/(During) reading MtL's, my communication abilities are being decreased and it's hard for me to even form sentences in correct grammar.
does this happen to other people when reading Mtl's?

if you use MTL too much, then yes, you may, because your brain were being set to understand the poorly translated texts you read.

I actually think that my reading comprehension got better because of MTL'ing for years now. At first, I always get a headache but now I just automatically filter it in my brain, haha.

I actually prefer MTL than reading translations that are supposed to be edited and proofread but are still filled with consistent mistakes (typos, wrong grammar, etc).

MTL can't translate some names, idioms, slangs, intentional typo so my brain dies when I read MTL

I felt some of my brain cells dies at first and caused a lot of headaches but after a while I felt like there was an autocorrect feature on my brain automatically converting the sentences to the correct grammar.

    Sure it does.
It's not like I want to MTL.
People will say, it's trash or rather not reading than reading mtl.
But for me, MTL is the only way. I hurt my brain for a while. But then, I can understand those mix and pick sentences. Sometimes, I do correction in my brain myself lol
Also, it makes me to look up the raw characters when I really dont understand. And without me realizing it, I actually make notes of the original characters, how to read it, hoe to pronounce it, etc.
I feel like, I'm repeating those years when I learnt english from watching western tv series and playing rpg lol

When I mtl, I make sure to always correct it in my head. That way, I won't become accustomed to the strange sentence structures and grammatical errors. But my English is bad in the first place, I don't think it made a huge impact.

Now I find English can be optimized. We use too many words just to make a sentence grammatically correct.

Hahaha. So many "translations" are MTL.

Too many times I located a novel to read only to discover there is no point

    Why am I laughing ..... :LOL::D
I avoid un-edited MTL. Tried a few times, but twisting my brain too much makes the story unenjoyable. If I can't enjoy what I am reading, what's the point of reading then.

    I dunno
Sometimes when I read manga, I see comment complaining about translation quality.
I was like 'what?', I think I can understand the chapter just fine.
Maybe my grammar was beyond repair, this also why I kinda reluctant to write something long

MTL isn't the problem for me at least. It's the fact that I just don't talk to people IRL, so I forget how to speak.

It's true that you tend to get habits, though. I remember when I was younger reading novels and then doing homework in the same style as the author. It really helped me meet the word count if I read Tolkien before doing an English assignment... And while I was staying with the family of a latina friend for a few days I called home and my sister said I had an accent. It doesn't mean I actually learned Spanish or was able to write a novel on par with Lord of the Rings, and it wasn't permanent, but I was influenced.

MTL is basically a language/dialect all its own. Of course you'll feel dumb if you assume it's regular English while reading it. Once you get used to the quirks you'll be able to automatically translate it to English, more or less, but if you only read MTL for a prolonged period of time you'll have problems. Honestly, if you only read translated novels period you'll have pretty much the same problems, even with good translators. Just don't binge-read only MTL for days on end and it shouldn't interfere with your life.
