I love this part. Because this scene was where Mathias was expecting Leyla to jump into his arm from the windows but his expectations drifted apart. Leyla skillfully jump outside and landed safely on the ground which makes Mathias impressed. He muttered something like 'Your skill never fades' (not really sure but you get the picture). And then they proceed to hold hands (more to Matty forcefully grab her hands. Hahaha) towards his personal bedroom.

I really like this scene cuz here Mathias was like a boy in love with a badass-unussual queen of the society. God. I must have indulge myself too much. I just love by how oblivious Matty to his feelings that it becomes funny.

 

When thinking about Matthias's grandfather and father I find them very disgusting of how they were married and they have cheated on their wives by having a mistresses. The wives knows the mistresses that their husbands have and can't do anything. I am glad that Matthias is very fateful towards his Leyla when they got married.

 

Okay, I just want to say, I'm not giving out the raws anymore. Some of you've been so freaking rude to me Why would you email a stranger and demand the raws? Then email several times to tell me how rude and mean I am because I'm not answering your emails fast enough.

 

I've read the MTL version last year, and I read the TL version on woopread, and I can say that MTL completely takes away the beauty of the language. Damn, the real sentence is so poetic and the feel is really deep and full of emotion, especially when reading while listening to the audio file.
He's a jerk, trash, whatever you say, but his charms are so hypnotizing just like his nickname > gentlemanly demon.
No politics, no villain, no misunderstandings, but the plot very well written.
And fun fact > Matthias won the second most favorite ML in last year's naver poll, behind Riftan ( no 1 )

Art of Vanj is very pretty ,I just now searched "mystical webtoon"(you can check it out too if you wanna know).Now I'm waiting for it's release and the criticism this series gonna receive from reader's because I can tell that this series is not everyone's cup of tea,gonna watch the drama now.

No wonder I like tragic novels the most. Rather than having two shameless characters' happy ending, I would be satisfied with a tragic ending. I only read this novel because it was in tragedy genre. I feel like I wasted my time for nothing.


Please anyone if know the true ending of the story, do inform me.

 

People are not going to love this story I saw someone post about it and the comments were full of hate, novel readers is more torrent then manhaw readers little shity attitude they hate you throughout the whole story.

 

This is just my opinion, since I just finish reading all the translated chapters. Getting this off my chest.

About Matthias!
When it come to bad and just outright horrible male lead in these kind of romance story. There always a fine line where I can see the fictional of their character. Yet... Matthias at time feel so real that it kind of scary. The way we can see that men like him do and did exist. I think the author did such a good job in writing him. There so many trashy ML that's way worst than Matt but yet I have a big weird disliked toward him. BUT in the same breath I like his grown and didn't mind that he the ML.

 

Yes. I also underestimated your thoughts but it just I don't understand the thoughts of those authors who are hell bound on happy ending. I mean, why does it had to be happy ending? A tragic ending can be good too. I just didn't like it that the fl was viewed as a masochist.


And besides, it's just a novel. I know there's men like the ML and i don't give a shit about them.

I don’t know either tbh. As a reader, to me it like reading a harsh Journey of two people who are from different reality, finding love for each other.

I think if you want story w/ a more tragic ending. You have to look for it. I haven’t truly come across a k-novel like that yet. I think I can only think of one.

And I hate both the ML and FL. Their relationship is purely based on something that is simply unacceptable. They were not animals but the author still wrote them like that. I only wish it was a tragic ending.

I hate Matthias but his twisted personality is so hilarious for me. I freaking hate author for making Leyla end up with her abuser. Killing Uncle Bill wasn't enough, the author really tied Leyla's fate to Matthias. But I admit, I like Matthias' character. Bro was a natural devil. He didn't need to have a tragic or painful backstory, he just grew up mad. Leyla awakened the yandere in him. He is the one who made me laugh the most in the novel. That man is hilariously psychotic. He sometimes remind me of Woojin from Love Jinx.

If I were to write a fanfic I would write that, they had a daughter and the daughter had the same fate as Leyla; raped by the man he loved. But the girl would be righteous. Although she loved that person, she would never forgive him. No matter how much he begs or cries or she loves him. She would rather die than marry such a person.

I would like to know the thoughts of her parents, Leyla and Matthias at that time. I wish someone write this fanfic and cools my angry heart.
