Spoiler The Beast Tamed by the Evil Woman

I say it's 7/10 for me. Since there's taming in this novel, i'm quite intrigued so yeah if you have a faint heart, novel is not best for you. The story is good but I am just bit disappointed how the MC handles the situation, quite annoying frankly how in the middle of the story becomes draggy coz she always think she doesn't belong and she don't want to be the OG Ilyana

When did he capture her? Did the marquis not do anything about her being captured? And what happened to ogFL? Was she a villain? Where did MC live after being captured?

A manwha where the readers are just as confused and out of the loop as MC - I'm a fan! A little bummed to read that the tactical side of the MC diminishes as we go further into the manwha/novel but I'll hold out hope.

 

• no info on the og heroine as of yet. She may become an ally, placed in the medicine field later on.
• as implied by the innate fear of Ilyana, the reaction of the servants, and the father-daughter convo on manhwa chapter 20, Ilyana is being physically discipline by her father. He seems to be thinking he (the family) is above the royalty thus they have to be perfect. Currently, Ilyana is being starved as a form or discipline.
• no information on love rivals.
• Based on my understanding, the isekai seems to be connected to the black book/prophet/prophecy. I’m assuming that og Ilyana is that prophet and she can see the future.
• 2 year time skip. The whole time she’s on priest training, although snippets of her life is shown in manhwa. 4-6 months ok to her training, Mag ran away. 1 year into her training Mag returned as a prince. 1 year and few months into her training, the 2 princes (the ones who pushed him into the cliff) died. A month or so before her graduation, Emperor died and Magnus ascended the throne.
• The doctor, Carl, said that they can now stop giving him the antidote. Two weeks before she was to enter the training. But it took longer for him to remember is real name and then run away.
• There seems to be an alternate POV depending on who is highlighted as of chapter 20.
• No idea.
• Reviews revealed that Mag would imprison her. Using his dark magic he will remove her ability to see, hear, and talk. Essentially, he will be training her to depend on him solely. My thoughts. Talk about mind break - total isolation where you can’t even express yourself

 

Spoiler: comparison of this novel with novel Roxana & I Lost the Leash of the Yandere Male Lead

It's a pretty dark story but not too heavy. —Probably this novel plot is halfway between "Roxana: the way to protect the female lead older brother" and "I Lost the Leash of the Yandere Male Lead (ILTLOTYML)" Maybe it's almost on par with "I Lost the Leash of the Yandere Male Lead (ILTLOTYML)" This novel could be darker than ILTLOTYML Because I think Magnus character is darker than Alastair. Magnus took revenge on Ilyana consciously. Confining her, intimidating, and somewhat suppressing her psychologically. whereas Alastair didn't hurt Serina knowingly, even though he sometimes tried to kill Serena, but that wasn't really what he wanted. But because Serena is a dark character, while Ilyana is actually quite cheerful, I think the position of the two novels is quite equal. These two novels are quite psychologically shocking. But ILTLOTYML makes me more desperate. Unfortunately the nature of the manhwa is not as dark and heavy as the novel. But after all, above the two novels 'Roxana' is the darkest. Serena and Ilyana only felt worried, while Roxana felt despair. Even Casis couldn't raise her spirit of life so easily. Her soul was empty and like there was no hope. Roxana really wanted to die many times. And the worst thing is that all the male characters in the novel "Roxana" are abnormal and crazy except for Casis.

i think so too. iltlotyml's novel is so good and u feel so many emotions while reading. the artist did a good job but i couldn't feel the same way. roxana is literally on a different level, it's more on the psychological side and feels more realistic to me.

i didn't see anything about her father but i think he tries to take her back or not let her go in the first place. since magnus is the emperor + he can use black magic i don't think he would've been able to stop him, it's just my opinion though. the spoilers i've read just said, to not die in his hands illyana shows obedience to magnus and listens to what he says. og fl is not a villainess and doesn't have that much of a scene.

btw illyana's father isn't abusive towards her but he is very strict. someone said it was bc og illyana was pushing herself to the edge while using her powers. the other one said it was bc of her mother that's why her father killed his own wife cruelly. I don't know the real reason but i only know that her father actually cares about her.

1. Is this not the usual trope of MC being the og!villainess reincarnated in modern times? Og!villainess seemed like she did it all for ML's good. And I'm guessing after Magnus imprisoned Illyana in the original timeline, he trained her as his beast.

2. What was her plan exactly?

3. And what's the deal with the Black Night?

4. Also, where were her wounds from? Her servants were worried for her when she was to meet her parents and she had a psychological fear instilled in her body towards her dad.
