Aside from that, the MC got a brownie point from me in chapter 13 of the manga. Spoiler So she knew ML is garbage but chose him anyway AFTER thinking it through. That's cool with me. Life is unfair like that sometimes. At least it's not like the other story where the FL always go badump badump towards her murderer and still chose him as the ML for no good reason. Also, Spoiler MC got another brownie point for admitting that she was being naive thinking they would leave her alone if she didn't become a queen/empress (forgot the term, sorry). So, after thinking it through, she chose to cooperate with the former queen/empress and try her best to be the queen/empress DESPITE knowing she has to be with the garbage ML.

this manga is interesting not because of romance of MC to garbage coward ML, but because of MC that choose to be a Queen to protect her people, she understand even if she choose not to be Empress, her sister will still choose to harm her, thus she needs to step up her game for herself, not for gaining ML's affection
So the prince is utter trash, and i don't see anyone disagreeing, lol! My question is... Does he redeem himself and become a good crown prince and king? Does he become worthy of standing at our heroines side?

Reading up to chapter 20 and lol.. the crown prince is pure garbage and useless. No wonder his father hated him. So the MC is pretty much destined to work herself to death to carry the trash ML and his kingdom in her entire life.

H U G E P L O T H O L E S Why the stepmother and her daughter held so much power when they're not even related to walker family and the real biological daughter has no power? Truth to be spoken isn't blood thicker than water? Then how come the father and elders accept a non-related family member's action despite having a valid heir? Why the royal family has no power? Aren't royal families believe in legitimacy most? How can they accept a non-related trash girl who is born out of wedlock and even not related to the walker family? Isn't ancient Royality obsessed with pureblood nobles? How come the prince do not have the basic education of how to take care of a country? Aren't they educated since born? How come he don't know anything and works like a puppet? The stepmother's daughter burned a noble person alive for rejecting her as future a queen and none protested against this. Is there no law? How is the country thriving without any laws or military? Shouldn't it be destroyed long ago? How come the stepmother and daughter use wealth and power of the family everywhere and none questioned about this? Why is the prince killed the mc despite knowing his wife was the culprit and she was innocent? Aren't rulers supreme and help his people? How come he never know his people's sufferings and schemes? Did he even get proper lessons of an heir to the throne? The whole plot is full of mistakes. Even the mc could solve some basic problems without getting any education while the real royal prince can't do anything it? Honestly speaking the mc was only the sensible ruler among there. All of others were trash. I really hoped the trash prince wouldn't become the ml. But in most jp novels and mangas they show a woman can't do anything without the ml. So, I guess that garbage is the ml and our fl is the trash can. I really hoped someone capable will come and become her and this poor country's knight shining armor. They both will become emperor and empress and will rule and save the nearly fallen country much better than this trash prince and royal family who doesn't even know anything. But this is a jp manga so there is no reason to get my hopes higher because I know in the end that trash incompetent useless prince will be the ml. And the fl has to wipe out his ass for every single problem he faced cause he's super incompetent. But I really want her not to fell for this garbage as she's forced to be an empress to save her country's people from the misery. I really want a new ml for her.
Why can't the plot be - MC married the sh**ty ML, endured the affairs, gave birth to an heir, off the ML and take the throne for her child? (Historically, this did happened.) After reading some spoilers, my only opinion is this is F****** headache. I hope this is already completed when I read it so I won't be stressed out or depressed because of how the characters will act.

She can live her life in peace after her son comes out of age too. Great retirement plan to boot. I don't think anyone would hate an antiheroine like this.
It's really gonna be easy except let's use the dumb sister and frame her for poisoning the braindead ml together with the dumb stepmom just to avoid noble's accusations. Framing her dumb sister will make more sense and believable enough to fool everyone since she's famous to be soooooo "murderous" There's the key to peaceful life
I read the spoilers but I'm still confused I don't understand why the emperor is so obsessed with that family and Isabella but from what I've read the emperor is also weak and uncaring I think the nobles know this and that's why they don't oppose, they gave up. Isabella can do what she wants in the palace because there is no one to stop her and the prince is a puppet or rather someone who has no desire to rule and I think he is in love with Isabella only that he has not realized this. Fl I don't blame her anyway she doesn't have many options her father is also a piece of garbage who in my opinion loves his wife and adopted child more than his own, with such a royal family and nobles it's obvious that Fl wouldn't have no chance to win she has no connections with any other families even if she tried to talk to other families to try to plot something Isabella would have found out and she would have died earlier and the emperor's mother is just as pathetic I thought she was supposed to have the most power in high society after the emperor but she needs to use Fl for her idiot nephew Fl has no choice but to marry him and she won't kill him to take the throne because she will fall in love with him Stockholm syndrome exists and she has been traumatized in both her lives

I think such plots even trigger us to know what is even the ending and how the plot flows just like we all know about how weird, angsty and masochistic is that manga/JP Novel My fiance is in love with my my little sister but many of us still go to the spoiler thread from time to time to know what the ending really is, sometimes we just remember the thread randomly if not time to time, when we get reminded about the same not because we like the story, but because we really want to know the end to end up these curiosity tingles towards such torturous plot. The author might exactly know how it works, even if the story line is extremely stupid and trash, they still get views and their manga sells just because of this thing called curiosity.

But we are reading manhwa romance here, is there any manhwa out there that the FL is not end up with the ml???? What i like are that the FL in glass wall have a better character development, she is not OP, she is hardworking, she is not trying being cringe cute, she is not try to manipulate anyone with her beauty, she try to solve her problem with her own, not with fairy, or any random power suddenly comes up And also the ml is not crown prince! Imagine that, not from wealth family also So it's a breath of fresh air really Oh and i like the way the author draw her hair
Spoiler: GLASS WALL She does run away, but it doesn't help. She can't really be independent with her finances and can't really find a proper job because of her good natured mistakes of letting people walk all over her. I know we can't really blame her for her circumstances but it somehow felt like she went from being a just ignorant noble to a knowledgeable doormat. She still knows where she is lacking and try very hard to learn from her mistakes. But does it really matter anyway? Because she end up with her toxic ML with 0 character development either way. And from the looks of it, he will keep being his rotten self and FL will have to deal with the same ol' struggle every time he stumbles upon another roadblock. It's a very toxic unhealthy relationship but that's what we get for asking for more realism. And lastly, he isn't crown prince nor a noble but he was indeed fairly rich, living a life better than your average commoner. He just fell into a noble's scheme and ruined that fortune. Welp, the author's way writing or maybe it's the translation? whichever it is, it was pretty great. That's what kept me going in that story. Art is indeed really nice too.
