I really wanna know just because I keep imagining the evil twin that got the responsibilities of FL (from stealing FL identity) and have to handle all FL job (teritorry management, etc.) and got bankrupt, got lied to, lost all the money she had taken from lying to her twin sister, because shes bad at handling them and just realize she cant be her twin and realizing shes need her sister. Sorry i just want to know if she got to this stated, if not then its my lost I will just wait for her suffering in the 2nd timeline. Sorry for the long ass comment
This is the flaw I found it was used a lot in the manhwa. I mean, in the real world, someone as useful or competent as MC will never get discarded by her family no matter how the family disliked her. But somehow in manhwa, all those NPC will waste no time discarding MC knowing how useful she was to everyone for the sake of the incompetent "green tea" character. Not to mention that those "green tea" usually are very bad at whatever task they have, but somehow they can last (and get away) at the office for many years and if MC screwed up something on her first day, she will get penalized harshly or kicked out from the office immediately. This doesn't even make any sense. I remember reading a story where the MC is a crown princess, but somehow has no authority or power to do anything, and then when her evil sister became a crown princess, she can do a killing spree and no one can go against her. What made the evil sister's crown princess so different and powerful than MC's crown princess position? Bad writing it is.

MTL not making much sense for me though, so far I can tell the coming of age banquet, Ercia got ex fiancé to destroy MC’s dress, they were already meeting up behind MC’s back and Ercia is seducing the fiancé by pressing her chest to his arms. MC had hidden a second dress because she expected sis to do something and she wanted to check whether or not sis was already a b*tch. Sis retaliated by getting fiancé to dance with her to steal the spotlight. Ian showed up and they kissed infront of everyone to get attention back. Some mysteries I don’t understand are Ian claims he never got invitations from MC even though MC sent multiple and got confirmation that it was received, who intercepted these? Sometimes it sounds like the grandpa knows Ercia is recovered and is actively trying to tie MC with fiancé even though he knows MC doesn’t like him… but MC is always grateful to grandpa… is grandpa just helping Ercia? Like he was hesitant to let MC wear a bright colored dress and wanted her to wear black so sis would stand out.
I didn’t read too much ahead of this arc you’re mentioning, but if I remember correctly grandpa was wise and loving towards MC, so he didn’t help any of the sister’s schemes. There were people on ML’s side who tried to sabotage him because of the power struggles, I think those people intercepted the invitations. Someone has mentioned before that the king is the one who’s very openly ruining ML’s business, so I would think it’s his spies who do that.
Does the grandfather still die in an accident or does mc stop it from happening? When is the sister's lies revealed to grandfather and others? Does sister still try to steal money and property from the family by imitating mc?
Spoiler: Ersia Ersia is honestly quite pitiful. All the childhood memories of the MC, Laurencia, is actually not about her and she is not what she thought she is. MC is actually the jealous one and just average intellect, Ersia is the real genius to the point that when she was 7 years old she made a ground breaking solution to a contract that their family is having a headache on. Being a genius, Ersia naturally has the spotlight and MC was very jealous, she also pushed Ersia down the stairs for performing better. One day the MC got hurt and noticed that you don't need to be a genius to get attention so she resorted to self harm by slitting her wrist, MC thinks more pain more love, I think she's kinda twisted. Parents realize it was self inflicted and Ersia feels guilty that her existence makes her twin suffers so she goes into the darkness for the sake of her sister, she made mistakes to the things she's usually good at and also this is where she started pretending to be sick so her sister your MC could shine more. Soon their parents died and this is where MC erased her memories on her self harm and mistake her self as the genius who is good at business and Ersia as the jealous sister who pretends to be hurt. Ersia continued to be in the darkness and she soon realized that MC forgot about the sacrifice she made, actually all the MC has now is due to Ersia's sacrifice and Ersia is suppose to be the heir, I think this is the turning point for Ersia to hate her sister and as years accumulated being alone and forgotten in darkness she become rotted that resulted to the first timeline. Sadly, the grandfather knows all this facts but he was too shaken up by the death of his child and wasn't able to focus on the widening gap between the twins. He even had the doctor to fake reports on Ersia's illness to justify why she was trapping herself on her room. So I could understand Ersia's hate during the first timeline especially with their grandfather dead, Ersia's revenge is unstoppable. If MC could remember her past I doubt she could open that door and return to the past by thinking she's the better twin and the victim but of course since she's main character she's one of the select few that could open the door to the past because she's a chosen body. They're both victims and both villains. When I read this part, I was dumbfounded and I can't help but sympathized more with Ersia than the MC with the twisted attitude and twisted mind for thinking she's the better twin who's doing the sacrifice so I dropped this after the revelation part as I find the MC undeserving and I feel like I wasted my time hating Ersia because of the idiot and misleading MC so Byiiiiieeeeee.
MC realized that she doesn't have the right to blame Ersia. When Ersia revealed their past, MC was in denial saying she couldn't do it but she soon believed it when their grandfather confirmed that it was all true. The MC still doesn't have the memory and she think that she won't be able to remember for a lifetime but she promise that she will try to remember and apologize again when that time comes. Spoiler: Reconciliation & Ending Grandfather gets injured during the face off of the twins, he then reconciled them told them not to blame each other and forgive each other because it was all his fault. The twin apologize to each other and cried a lot. Later Ersia joins the family business even though she has no experience she really stand out and excel on business proving that she really is a genius MC noticing this quoted "I'm jealous" she soon passed to Ersia the succesorship and gets married to the Grand Duke and started her new life, it ended with the MC getting congratulated for having a child. Ersia ended up with Benson. Crown Prince and Ex-Fiancee died.
Thanks for the spoilers! It was very unexpected, especially considering the first timeline where the sister ruined the family business completely. I wonder if MC was really a cause of all family problems why did she even get a chance to go back in time.
Spoiler: How MC went back to the past Priteritum is a religion that disappeared in history but still existed and emperors used to bow to this religion, they maintain balance to the world in the name of God. According to the High Priest of Priteritum, MC is a chosen body that could open the door that leads to the past and can change their future. They are villains and they tried to force MC to be their High Priestess.
Spoiler: My thoughts Yo this is a great turn for this type of a novel. I really hate this entire troupe of making sisters hate each other because one is jealous of the other's success to the point they would disregard the other's life and just want to have everything the other have for themselves. Bruh like wtf? Why are these women in Korean novels always so full of hatred for the one they are jealous of. I mean I do understand it's a normal human emotion that we all know and feel but why do they make it seem so extreme just to create a villain. I feel like the authors are just lazy to do the groundwork to create a plausible scenario for an old grudge so they always push off as just woman being jealous. This feels so cringe. Anywho, I really love the fact this author took a rather unconventional twist. There's actually no villain in the end. Just pile of misunderstandings and amnesia(though I usuallyhate amnesia plots but this seems rather doable). Honestly sibling's early feelings of rivalry and competition can easily be handled if the parents are knowledgeable. Every child has something they excels in, just help them find what they are best at. If not, at least let them do something they find enjoyable and encourage them to keep at it. It's just that simple to build a healthy relationship but well.. ig this happened because their parents died early and they had no one to guide them properly. But I'm glad things worked out well and in the end and they ended up reconciling instead of taking extreme decisions to exact revenge from each other. Tysm for the spoiler. Can I know more about the princess that got rejected by the Grand Duke? Was it really her intention to make Grand Duke struggle in finances or just scummy royals took it upon themselves because they felt slighted by his rejection?
Spoiler: Grand Duke and the Imperial Family It was the former Grand Duke, the ML's Father not the ML, who broke the engagement with the Princess and married a woman from a Count Family. The former Grand Duke loves his wife very much to the point where he built a statue after she died so people could remember her beautiful figure. Also, it was the Crown Prince who put pressure on the Grand Duke's finances because he was very jealous of the ML. ML is better than the crown prince at everything, they get often compared with each other and the Crown Prince couldn't accept this because he has the highest position so he thought he should be better. Crown Prince also wants the power to center on only the imperial family, and he wants to destroy the 2 duchy, the Grand Duke and the other Duke, because people thought that they had greater power and influence over the imperial family.
Holy… wow. That IS a nice take on the “villainess” character and if that’s the case then it’s reasonable and understandable that the “villainess” would hate the FL. I would too. I think I will stop reading it though. I understand that they make up in the end, but I want a story with siblings who have a good relationship. There are sooooo many where they don’t.
