  I had some problems with when to and certain arcs (mostly being too invested in the story and not checking) but I hope it's not too much of a problem.

Any opinion on whether Cho Sam has a similar facial appearance to Maehuageomjon >< thanks a bunch

 

their face aren't similar since CM was confused when he first saw Chosam's reflection on water and wondered 'who is this kid',, but for some reason Lico draw them similarly,,

 

yeah I guess it's for convenience thing. They are cute when drawn together tho so that's a pass

 

Was this established in the novel? I've always thought the reason he said that was because he was an 80-year-old man who didn't expect to see a kid as his reflection. Since Grandpa Tang recognized him, I thought he bore some resemblance to PBSS.

Also I'm at Chapter 600+ and occasionally translate the novel English to Mandarin for the vibes (I'm a native Mandarin speaker). Just a fun tidbit but Comrade = gay bros in Mandarin, so I can't stop reading Heavenly Comrade Alliance as ✨ Heaven Gay Bros Alliance✨ in Mandarin lmfao.

If you guys need any names explained in Mandarin come holler anytime! I love to dive into these stuff.

Seeing as nobody is gushing about the new chapters, I can only presume that the beggar guild's leader keeled over 5 minutes after his talk with CM. In a nod to Star Wars, he just died of sadness.

does it got any romance, while forced romance will worsen the novel but a little romance would be good after a lot of interactions between them. and is there any fl in this novel ?? just let me know if there is someone who read or heard from others about the romance, since i know it got a lot of emotions and fighting as i've read upto 300 chapters. he needs someone who can comfort and loves him so that he can take break from the burden and the mental fatigue .

theres no romance so far. btw youre absolutely right he does need someone who can comfort and love him but you'll see that it is not a fl but the Mount Hua Sect. plus imo theres not much need for romance because of that found family relationship

Well, yep. He died, not in sadness but with a peaceful mind but before that he ask CM for favor to 'freed' Cheonsangruju and he asked Cheonsangruju to help CM (which makes Cheonsangruju knew CM's real identity as Geomjon). Then CM finally knew Gaebang's political situation. Cheonsangruju is on the verge of being kicked out as the Bangju. So yep, CM was scammed by the old man, sort of. He wanted to whip the corpse of the old man. He was left with Gaebang's problem.

As for Gaebang's political situation.
-Cheonsangruju whose name is Pungyeong Shingae was the Sajil of the one who was really supposed to be the Bangju. But since the old man, Hyeongpung Shingae, chooses him as the Bangju he preceded his Sahyeong who is named Ilho.

-This Ilho was now pressured by Baldie to choose side but he can't without the Bangju authority so he needed the proof which is the divine item like CMun's Jaha Sword for Hwasan.

-So Ilho actually comes up with the plan, he will declared that the previous Bangju dead and he lost the divine item, so he can take his rightful place as the Bangju.

-Then when they are now actually doing the ceremony to acknowledge him as Bangju, Hwasan's Ogeom, CM, Songbaek and Hyeyeon appears on the ceremony. Before that Ilho makes sure that the invitation will be sent to prominent sects but they cannot attend because it will arrive as the ceremony begins. But yep, Hwasan people crashed the ceremony.

-Baekcheon is cool again in those scenes fighting words and vouching that the Bangju is not dead. Which is seconded by Hyeyeon and Songbaek so the authencity is very true. But most of the Elders of Gaebang actually knows that it is true but they still feign ignorance and accusing Pungyeong as fake.

-Ilho said to CM that there is two kind of information. One is that the information is right from the very beginning and the other is to make the information right on the end. So he orders those elders to behead Pungyeong.

Thats why chungmyung always said he rather died because there was always a problem he had to solve, one that only he could solve

 

We all expected him to scam Pungyeong because he was the owner of the luxurious bar liquor shop but then it was such a reversal when it was actually Pungyeong's master, Hyeonpung Shingae, who scammed CM thoroughly. He really died in peace knowing there is someone capable who can fix Gaebang that he sort of destroy.

 

CM must want to revive hyeonpung just to kill him again

 

He doesn't want him revived. He was content on whipping his corpse.
