So some quick spoilers that help explain the plot. Spoiler: Special flower So there is this important flower called Shakir that can help the emperor and the villain with their health I believe. Well the flower begins drying up and this causes both sides to try to look for alternatives to the flower. Spoiler: Divine power Well there is two known people who could help with the lack of flowers .One is the OG female lead and the other is our MC who just ran away from the church when she was supposed to give a blessing to the emperor. The villain soon realizes that he is very fortunate that he hired MC as a babysitter Spoiler: Delkine Delkine is a minute older than his twin. He doesn't seem to be able to use dark magic unlike his siblings. He is more calm and rational compared to his sister. He warms up to MC pretty quickly. He has the belief that since MC saved his brother. His brother and MC will eventually get married. The brother and sister believe that whoever saves your life is destine to be your soulmate. So he tries to encourage MC to stay by calling her sister in law. Spoiler: Aisha She is a minute younger than her twin brother. She is able to use dark magic and has an intimidating aura. She originally didn't like MC for misunderstanding that she "killed" their older brother. MC won over Aisha by cooking french fries for her and later using a frying pan to knock out a guard that was trying to hurt Delkine. Aisha can be rash and is later shown to be possessive of MC Does anyone know if there is a novel version that we can read?
Spoiler: More about MC power So it seems that Meia's power has multiple effects depending on the amount of physical contact and duration of contact. Her power was amplified by God to be extra effective so her fate was to bless the emperor and then die in sacrifice. It's derived from the flower of Shakir. If she blesses someone, then her power and energy leaves her which puts her life at risk. But because she hasn't blessed anyone yet, it essentially is slowly leaking out through physical contact. It is only effective on those that have divine, holy, or mana based powers. Both Rakha and Aisha use dark magic so they are especially effected by her power. Holding onto a pinky for a short while has the calming effect of enjoying a relaxing summer's breeze. A little bit longer makes them drowsy, alleviates headaches, and makes them fall asleep peacefully. In Rakha's case, the more she holds onto him the more dazed and turned on he gets. Essentially he gets intoxicated by her scent and is highly suggestible and will believe her words. But when he holds on for too long it gets him horny so she has to hit him with a pillow to wake him up from the dazed state. Meia learns that because Rakha used a forbidden spell (to protect the twins from evil and abusive relatives) he can't fall asleep because he hears the voices of the dead. He becomes fixated on Meia whose power helps him relax and fall asleep.
Spoiler: The Prophecy about Meia There was a prophecy that the "daughter of God" would be born with blonde hair and blue eyes. The temple found the baby fitting the description in a town called Libertan. Libertan is a very rough place where poverty is common. It is suggested that Meia was kidnapped to be raised by the temple. The Prophecy states that "My daughter will bring stability back to Zerdia when her powers awaken". This is why the emperor is trying to find Meia because if anyone knows that he is in a weakened state without her presence then he will probably be in trouble in the future. Spoiler: Speculation From what we see how the OG Meia acted I honestly feel kind of bad for her. It seemed that she liked the emperor a lot and ultimately died for the dude and just moved on to the FL. At least with how Meia is acting now even though she is having to use her powers at least she is being compensated for her troubles. Spoiler: Theory One FL and MLs future love One thing that I thought was interesting was when they mentioned that Meia powers can be a stimulant and can be the equivalent of a love potion. As much as I like the romance that is being hinted I don't want it to be covered or caused by magic. Because that feels almost manipulative and toxic and the relationship. So I hope that they will actually like each other and not be just because of her scent. Oh that is so wholesome of the fact that the Duke would use the forbidden spell just to save his siblings from living a bad life.

So... FL's still dying right? Just slower because her power and energy are leaking out gradually. Maybe it wouldn't necessary kill her but weak and fragile to the point of falling into coma. I wonder if there's going to be a fight breaking out and FL will have to use up her entire energy (or bless someone) and fall into coma, then ML will come and save her.

Hey that's too much speculation lol. Even if the powers can feel you like in love doesn't mean they will... And they only does it in a given time not everytime where you can't even tell the difference on what you feel, and ML didn't even feel like a person whose ignorant about his own feelings unlike those ML's that keep denying and used violence because they don't like it... They have time for their love to bloom naturally since they only use the power when needed.
