I am looking for ACTUAL yandere tops. If you know what I mean. I am getting into those dark books and am craving yandere centric books. I've been looking and most, if not all, the books I found with the tag 'yandere' is just a typical guy who happens to be possessive. That's all. I want an actual yandere. The scary type. ❤️
It's been a long time since I read some of these, so I don't remember those too well, but perhaps Kill the Lights Rebirth of Chen An Beastman Forcefully Raising a Wife - not sure he is scary the way you want, but he scares the heck out of MC
This is the same problem I'm having. The closest I have read is Things That Deserve To Die, still, it was closer to a possessive lead than Yandere, a good read though. Let me know if you find a good one.
Can you give more description of the “scary” type? Are you looking for the ones who get violent but still stay gentle to their lover or just overall pyscho? Or do you want like something more subtle, a very controlling yandere with psychological elements?

Hmm I’m reading Holding You Captive (manhwa) and main guy is definitely yandere and possessive. So is the ML in the completed cnovel “Monster” I know I know more but can’t remember them, will add to this thread when I’m back (some are raws though).

So the Ml creates a staked/ harasser for the Mc and in turn the Mc confides in the Ml that seems to be there at the right time and place. Not very violent but more psychological. HE ending.
