Why did they change his hair? Just why? It seems simple but i prefer him with the black hair.. Not gonna be salty, he is still handsome with silver/ white hair but i feel cheated by the cover..
I haven’t read very far (at around ch 60) but Spoiler: Spoiler ML’s mother changed his hair color. I think she may have been trying to hide who his true father is. There is a flashback scene that shows pieces of Liel’s past. In the past, his mom was constantly praying and being hunted by something. While they were on the run, she became terminally ill. At this point the Duke shows up because he’s obsessed with Liel’s mom (though it seems like he may have abandoned her first). Soon after the Duke appears, Liel’s mom tells him that Liel is his child and he should take responsibility. ML has the dukes hair color but the duke feels certain that Liel is not his child and that MLs hair color is fake. Sometime prior to the duke arriving, the mom blesses Liel and uses some type of power that changes his hair color from white to black. At this point it is not revealed why, but it seems like she may have had plans to pretend like the ML was the duke’s kid.

I'll just give a summary of chapter 129 (it's different from the one labelled up there) Spoiler This basically talks about Lucy as an angel, she was told by the Goddess to become the Demon King and stop demons from going too far, so she dyed her wings black and overthrew Baal. But instead of dying, Baal left with Dailor and disappeared. After a few years of her diligently doing her job, Baal appears and rips off her leg. She flies away and eventually, by the Goddess' will, she finds Liel. Using this as an opportunity to make him her 'bowl', she then leaves to recover her body. But unexpectedly she finds Eleanor (Lucy's mother) and grows close to the family that despite having a commoner, has no prejudice and has a nice dynamic. Seeing that Eleanor is infertile, she uses this as an opportunity to rebirth and gets born as Lucy. You know what happens after that. Chapter 130 summary Spoiler So this is the OG story from her perspective, basically showing how she gradually started liking Liel and also thought of him as her masterpiece. Spoiler: Chapter 131 summary So, she gets in the academy with top grades and begins to be interested in Melissa's self-esteem and confidence. She wants to break her, so when Liel starts showing jealousy, she tells him not to hurt her (Liel was probably killing people she was interested in) because this Melissa was the reincarnated person she told the devil about. Little time skip to a point where Liel is (most likely) turning into a demonic beast, she sees him but pretends not to know what's actually happening since for some reason she doesn't want to get her power from him. After asking if he's sick, he doesn't tell her. Spoiler: Chapter 132 summary She meets Dailor shortly after checking up on Liel one day and thinks him as suspicious. After learning that he was invited by Dioletta, she goes to her and makes Dioletta feel guilty for inviting a man over whilst her younger brother is sickly. Later, whilst leaving (I think, or maybe she was going to check up on Liel again) Dailor goes to her and touches her hair. She almost kills him, but holds back after thinking that her cover would be blown. When going to Liel, he pins her against a wall and talks about how jealous he is.
It's been a bit and I can barely accurately remember what happens but here ya go. Spoiler: Chapter 133 - 140 summary So after this, FL starts feeling a bit sick and almost fainted, this leads her to sneak into ML's room to eat him. Literally. It has a small monologue mentioning how she can't completely kill him even if she'd planned it from the start. After regaining a lot of her power, she leaves to go back and carry on with her work. Now my memory gets fuzzy here but I think her flashback ends here and it goes back to the scene of FL talking to the ML, apparently she was regaining her memories and it was proven when she uses the crow demonic beast that she created to help Mammon and Duen escape. At this point, she confesses her love to the ML and they kiss before she stabs him in the neck. She did this to hide the fact that he imprisoned her and she ends up taking him back to her manor where he gets treated and she takes this time to process everything. Now, it explains that just cause she gained her memory back, it doesn't mean that she will act exactly like before losing her memories. On the contrary, she feels sorry towards Dioletta and everyone else and she promises to be a better person. After that, I think the ML wakes up and leaves almost immediately after that, he was avoiding the FL because he felt guilty for killing him and I don't think he talks about the confession with FL. He even mentioned that he'd rather die to help the FL. Later on, she goes to the temple because Dailor forced her, she gets stabbed by a sacred sword and tries to escape whilst ML distracts everyone. In this scene he even reveals himself to kill Duke Marsen for FL because she ordered him to in their past life. Sadly, Dailor catches her whilst she's trying to escape and I think that's where it ends.
