We haven’t even got the full details of the spoilers and only got simple summaries. I think it’s too soon to assume she’s innocent, there’s no info that tells if she’s innocent or bad. The arranged marriage and original plan could have easily not been followed through. So don’t just be disgusted when you haven’t actually read the entire spoilers or even the novel itself.
What were the societal challenges that Dahlia and Isaac faced in expressing their feelings for each other
Spoiler: Story Spoiler: Hoover and Karla Hoover and Karla Karla had always loved Hoover and found chances to talk to him and take advice from him. I think Hoover is Isaac's older brother, though it is not revealed in the story. I don't remember exactly. Their love story is sweet and sad, and I hoped the author could write more on their story!
Spoiler: Some spoiler I peeked in the novel. The MC when she know ML going to get married, she wanted to go back to maid, but ML imprisoned her in a side building..... The future wife was offended by having the ML already lover before the marriage (ML said like: "I'm going to respect you (he wanna kill her) , but do not make fuss about the lovers" ) - guh..... After then future wife go to the side building slap MC and say her to go away (I cannot blame future wife for this, and MC already planned to run away because she didn’t want to live in this way). For me ML is disgusting... At some poing there is even a doubcon/r@pe between ML and MC, before MC was transported(she was transpprted during she was sleeping so she couldn't go againt MLs will) the side house, MC clearly said no but he just forced himself on her.
Thanks for the spoilers! For now with the info posted here I do blame the future wife for her rush actions. Her father pushed the marriage onto ML for his own benefits instead of a business deal or some other way of political partnership. So ML had the right to push his terms for the marriage, which was having a lover. He is a huge a$$hole for agreeing to this deal, putting MC through this situation and for his later actions, but his deal with father-daughter duo wasn’t to love and cherish his arranged wife, it was to just to marry on paper. The future wife who is obviously not married to him yet and has no rights to decide anything in the house just went ahead and used violence towards MC against ML’s warning to not fuss over his lovers. In this case she is the 3rd party who came out of nowhere with her rules and tantrums and wants to break up a couple in love. She has no rights to behave like this because in the first place she has also agreed to a marriage of convenience to gain the position of a duchess. Nothing comes without a price, but she wants to continue to bend the rules set by ML even before they have married. Her actions look like a power play of a spoiled little princess, who is not smart enough to realize her actual position, so I don’t have any sympathy for her.
Spoiler: Spoiler at the end This situation is nearly the end of the novel, MC run away, the marriage is cancanelled and he is still the duke (it was this easy cancanel it, and he is still the duke, then why the marriage in the first place? I don't see the logic..... ) the duke trying to find MC long time. Finally the meet in a train, MC and his sister having some illness, I think something like astma, and they go in the capital, for some cure because they are very ill. MC collapsing before ML. She wake up, they having snusnu and at the night the MC trying to comit suicide (drowning herself in a lake, because her sister got ill because her, she hurt ML (?!)) she is poor and can't give anything to ML(like noble ladies money etc.), so she is miserable) and ML save her. In the end ML give the dukedom to his stepsister (Carla, she is an Illegitimate child too but she is I think the ducches and some man child, and she marry with Hoover) , she cannot be the heir, but can be a regent or something like this, and ML go after MC at south I think she is there because her illness (not sure) , and ML built a villa there (he said his sister they staying at last 5 years) . In the end ch97. they still not returned.....so I don't think they ever coming back. Seriously MC suffered the whole thing, just ML give up beeing duke and live in rural place.... He should just do this from the beginning....
Oooh finally the ending is much better i guess. I almost lost my appetite when i read he's gonna marry another woman to gain the title but that not happening and the FL successfully kill his absurd plan by running away! I also gonna love running away arc lol
feels like the plot about him having to marry another noble was just a random unnecessary tidbit shoehorned into the story for extra drama if it was that easy to call off the marriage. seems like the the writing isn’t really that good..?
