What’s the point of a spoiler thread, if there are no spoilers?

 

Hi! This is your favorite and least favorite spoiler provider, Chillu! (I tried. out of all the novels, this is the hardest to understand novel).

For the record, The manhwa either follows the novel or mixes up and add the events to make the story smoother, so this can be considered as inaccurate spoiler. But we are a sucker for spoilers, right? Anyway~!

Spoiler: Charle's 2nd fainting scene (not in manhwa)

In manhwa, Charle fainted when calix opened the door and they had contact and charle looked at him. In the novel, what happened after was that sasha was picking flowers for charle. However, he noticed that the people are in panic with what happened and realized that charle fainted again. It seems like Sasha developed a fight or flight to find towels because he really cared for Charle and it caused him slight trauma. Over the course of Charle's sleep. Sasha slept beside her, crying waiting for her to wake up. Charle woke up feeling something cold at her face, turns out it was sasha's doing, who was also asleep.

Calix despite very worried for charle's health asked while stroking close to her eyelids"You couldn't help but help, so it must be burdensome" (To take care of sasha)

Charle in denial with her feelings towards the man said, "No... Its because I like Sasha"

Spoiler: Calix Cheezy lines not in latest manhwa (Part 1) Ch 45 Manhwa, Ch 59 Novel

Starting from Buying clothes for charle:
- "Please allow me to call you by name, with that alone, I can wait forever"

He kissed Charle's hand as with seduction and mischief. But charle think it was only for exposure. She was so embarrased and he laughed.

Saying "Its not a lie that I had fun today... Probably because I am with the Princess."

(In this chapter in the manwha, Charle was expecting an assassin but was brought to a clothes store by calix AND THEN the assassin came. But in the novel, she was kidnapped (lol) by calix for clothes shopping when she just returned to the mansion but no assasin came to her nor was she expecting an assasin in that scene.)

 

The MTL is horrible and cannot be read at all.. It's really hard to understand unlike other Knovel that I have try to MTL

 

The manwha is really hard to understand as well

 

The story is very confusing, but I'll try to contribute with what I understood. I think it helps to better comprehend when you discover how many timelines exist. I understood that there are at least three key points.
Forgive me if it's confusing.

1. The current life, which Charlize perceives as a soap Novel. She recalls a previous life where she was trained to be an assassin and betrayed by someone she thought was a friend. In this Novel, as always, she is the villain in love with the main character. Throughout the story, she torments the couple (Cálix and Irina) and the nephew (Sasha), who should be the heir apparent (the current emperor killed Sasha's father/brother of Cálix). Charlize is a good person with limited social skills, and knowing she ends up dead in the original Novel, she tries to first distance herself and then attempts to change to help Sasha, Cálix, and the others.

2. Charlize can see a future that doesn't exist in the original Novel when she looks at Cálix during the day (requires sunlight). Additionally, she faints and has dreams when touching sacred objects. This way, she sees the original Novel story.But she sees beyond the narrative. Moments where Charlize regrets or her father (Duke of Rienta) is about to die, etc. So she realizes there's more that she doesn't know. Also, a God appears who wants to make a contract with Sasha but ends up making one with Charlize first. He knows something but doesn't disclose everything to her.
3- Additionally, there's a children's story that Sasha loves, involving a baby warrior, a princess, and a dragon. The dragon loves the princess... and we are led to understand that this dragon could be Cálix and the princess, Charlize. In fact, Cálix has moments where he refers to her as Charlize and other times as princess.

 

So, does that mean that she is also the og Charlize? Because, like you said, I find the story rather confusing.

also does the princess and the dragon story from manhwa chapter 38 has any connection with the story. I felt the princess green eys is similar to fl and dragon kinda looked like ml

Who is main villain apart from empress?

Is the Empress really pregnant? I feel like she ain’t and she will try to accuse our FL of trying to kill her baby with this event. The fact that she disappeared during the hunting event makes it so sus and I don’t understand her visions anymore now. What’s going to happen?

Not sure if anyone has said something about this yet, but in chapter 66 of the manhwa, the empress announces her pregnancy and then it is followed by a scene where FL stumbles upon a scheme to prove if the empress' pregnancy is real. I have 2 questions

1. Who was that man tasked by the hooded figure to verify the empress' pregnancy? I've been reading the manhwa off and on for the duration that it's being published, so my memory of supporting characters isn't the best.
2. Why was it important to verify the empress' pregancy? Again, if it was mentioned in a previous chapter, I've probably forgotten T-T

 

Someone mentioned that ML did like the ogV crazy Charle.
But why didn't he try to show affection. Did he not know there were so many rumors about the FL bothering him and stalking him. If he was waiting for her shouldn't he know about her? Why did he not show a single moment of affection for her.
The orig was so insecure, even when she died she had no idea. Atleast before her death she knew her father loved her but not him.

If at all it was to protect her, why not clarify that he had nothing to do with the ofFl? Why say he doesn't love her?

And now that our MC/FL has come to reside, how is it easy for him to show affection? Talk corny and cheesy lines?

Do you know just how little amount of affection can create a huge mirage in the heart of someone vying for affection. The origCharle had such a hard time. She suffered as a defense mechanism, thinking her father never loved her inspite of how much he showed her. This is not her being selfish, but as a defense from trauma, that she doesn't deserve to be ever loved.

What about the ML in og timeline? Even in this timeline, his attendant talks shit about her? Asking if he could do something about her? Does he really not know what the society and circle was saying about MC/ogv? Or choose to ignore it?

The ogV followed him every where, if he was waiting for her affection to grow for him than how long and how much longing and affection should the ogV have showed him to return a miniscule of it?
If he was with ogFl just for his nephew, does that mean he wouldn't give the ogV any love Or basic respect ever? (If ever he loved her) was he going to sacrifice his love for her so that nephew grows up well?
Even then he shouldn't have wronged her.

If he loved ogV but now he loves Our MC, then also I wouldn't say his actions were justified

If the ogV and MC are the same(if ever there is a plot twist like that) then also I don't think his actions are justified in the og timeline for the ogV.

Please clarify MLs character, I reay am way too sorry for the ogCharle to warm upto the ML.

It's very convenient. Even now I feel, that if our MC didn't pick up the nephew sasha she wouldn't have received even a slight glance from him. He never smiled towards the ogV, what's did our MC do to receive all smiles, all understandings and everything.
I find it repelling!

If it was another person who picked up sasha, anyone who picked up Sasha would be given that place?

Is it that easy? Wouldn't OgV Charle stop stalking if he clarified that he loved her or was interested in her? If all the harrassment fiasco started due to misunderstanding.

Does a person need to behave in only a limited way to get attention or affection?

Please spoil the timelines, I am unable to follow the ML convenient way of thinking. And I would actually be glad if FL doesn't trust his confession. But all throughout the story, the FL is always going through the flow. It makes me think it's better to just be batshit crazy in crazy world or else everyone thinks you are a pushover.

 

Huh ch 40 of the webtoon she tells claix about seeing the future intermittently but interesting that claix doesn't press on it/comment about the strange convos they had

Can anyone give me a estimate on what chapter in the novel that the whole empress pregnancy comes around?

Also is the potions that the emperor takes sleeping pills cause seemed he crashed asleep after drinking one next to empress in bed
