The morning after that ball, FL talks to Blondie and finds out that the girl is not interested in the duke at all. Blondie complains that she is haunted by an aura of unhappiness - everything around her wants to harm her.
The girls will go to choose dresses and face another villainess, who is apparently in love with the duke - so zealously interrogates FL about the events of last night. Well, in the novel they give a hint that Blondie is not simple - “Why is Leonie's smiling face more frightening than Paley's cold eyes?”

I will be glad to read the spoilers, the novel has just started reading and found few chapters((

 

I hope someone picks this up soon. I really am hoping Leonie is a real friend... I mean in her 19th executions, Leonie was always there to defend her. She seemed to have truly believed in her best friend. I feel like she must have retained her memory somehow, or she changed the plot to have FL live for once. Otherwise who knows why the world keeps trying to kill Leonie.

Anyway FL is pretty funny and laid back from the first few chapters I read. If Leonie remains a central character that will be awesome, since usually BFFs or friends barely show up in the story after they do a couple things and it focuses on the romance.

Really hoping this isn't yet another fake friend trope

If the friend is faking it, the tension of the plot is completely lost as mc no longer has a reason to be conflicted over her happiness. And nor does the reader have a reason to feel any tension either

Mc regressed 19 times. She died for crimes she never comitted in all her lives.Only way to stop this cycle is to run the story in right direction .

 

Leave the male lead, I feel even original FL will push MC towards ML. MC's dream of restoring plot is going to be a big flop. XD

She will need to find some other way.

I feel like the OGFL was the one who turned back time each time just so she could save MC. As for why the OGFL is targeted. Isn’t it because the MC herself wants to believe that her friend should be with the ML and not her? And so the system is trying to kill off the obstacle. So basically the true thing for it to become all good, is it MC’s happiness? The OGFL probably asked for this so every time the MC is trying to fight against her own happiness, the obstacle will be targeted? Or something like that? Would be fun if it’s really that

Read the novel some time ago and from what I remember this has an interesting premise but the execution was not just done well for me. Iirc it kinda gave me a whiplash when events transition to another lol. I don't remember much of the story anymore other than the fact that the antagonist is another noble lady iirc. I think it was the red hair lady they showed a glimpse of in the early chapters of the manhwa, but I'm not too sure. Anyway, she's the reason why they keep repeating the story for 20 times. I don't remember clearly but there's this mysterious/ enchanted book involved. The antagonist iirc has this obsession with ml and she was able to repeat their lives through that book if I'm not mistaken. Someone was helping her, I forgot who. Iirc that someone considers the antagonist as a benefactor. Initially, the antagonist was a good person but iirc she went kinda crazy trying to get the ml to love her but it never happened. Something along the lines that no matter the changes made, fate still find ways to force the original plot to happen. This is her last attempt iirc. I don't remember much since I only finished the novel for the sake of finishing it but it wasn't that much of an enjoyable read for me cos sometimes it felt disjointed. I do remember FL being locked/sealed in the book. Iirc it's the ognovel and she changed the story inside the book so she could get out. And if I'm not mistaken, the one who always helped the antagonist helped FL out of guilt cos she was complicit to FL's deaths (knowing that FL was innocent). And OGFL is actually nice iirc. If I'm not mistaken she'll end up with the second ml. Iirc she likes him cos he's nice and caring, she's scared of OGML (who is also the ML).

 

Is ML the one who condems MC every lifetime? If so, how was she able to stomach sleeping with him or even looking at his face? I think I'd go hysterical if I have to even breathe next to my executioner.
