I don't think Eiser even knows that she cares that much for him, If translation is correct he thought something like she kissed with him and other things because she can sometimes be impulsive and was curious.
I hope all these questions are resolved... anyway, I feel that the same way Eiser came to Serena in the beginning offering to teach her business (even though it meant he'd have to deal with her more), is a mirror action of what Serena will offer him now.
Frederick was never her true love when she clearly told him he’s not her lover. Her behavior towards him was not that of 1 lover , she never even thought of him as such and Frederick was aware of that. The talk with her friends gave her clarification that he was merely a relationship out of necessity. It’s not like her love changed from Frederick to Eizer, when she never even loved Frederick in the first place .
when i read about serena is redflag in female version..yes serena is redflag but people love redflag person.. also people with pro think we are hate Serena cause virginity and morality.. but actually i love smut novel even if dark fantasy with little chaos and dark.. but i feel different with this.. i remember reading this.. and see chapter 3 or 4.. she treat servant woman so awful cause of jealousy about that servant is looking innocently and blushly to serena "toy handsome boy" aka frederick..so i stop to continue this.. she is being admired a lot but she is bully in reality like for example someone just being blush or admire the man she love, then she bully them and she have a power to doing that and people support her being do that. imagine if we just ordinary girl and admired person like he is like a kpop idol and we just admire not try to reachin him, but beautiful bully girl like serena do bad to us.. this is my first time hating female lead character.. and i don't see this manhwa again.. but author is have story based in reality that people like serena will have anything they want.. i feel upset when so many advertising about this manhwa..
agree that Serena initially did some actions that nobody can defend, tho i like her a lot i still keep silent when sb mention that she used to treat people who she didn't like harshly (and treated Fred like a doll) and I did say I hate this violent aspect of her. although this series is really enchanting, it must be admitted that ina nim created some situations which are hard to consume, not just the one you mentioned. that's why ive never said Serena is the good however, if we consider Serena's morality after the crisis, she is a good boss who treats staffs well, with pp she respects. even with Dia - the person she doesn't like, Serena still behaves moderately. for me this is character development (then she having what she wants is bc she works, its not relevant to her past) i know Serena did do st thats not easy to accept so its understandable if you don't like her bc of her previous manners. just leave and focus on what you want
I totally agree with that. I like Serena vs personality for the most part especially her character development but the way she treats Fred has always made me uncomfortable. She treats him more like her property than like another human and that's dehumanizing and won't be tolerated as much bu readers if roles were reversed. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like Fred
The scenes we saw with Serena in the beginning did not showcase who she is on a normal day. That first scene showed her when she was drunk after a party where she was probably hoping to find Eiser(the prince). We know now she has bad drinking habits. The next morning, she was in a terrible mood because Eiser was coming back after many months... and she also hated Silon diamonds for turning their back after her mom died... I'm not saying she wasn't very disrespectful, but basically that we saw her worst in the beginning. She kind of seemed friendly and caring of Fredrick and others overall even in the beginning (she hangs out with him and goes on picnics with him etc.) I don't think this is as much character development as it is character establishment. The story unravels and it turns out to upend the presumption of her we got from the glimpses we saw of her in the beginning. The impression we got of Eiser in the beginning somewhat is also upended. For example, we think he actually does care about Serena when he's warned she could get pregnant but now we know he might have been thinking of Dia. Also, when he gave her shoes at the hotel, we think he cares about her... but he later admits he did it to sort of mock her.
I don't understand why you have to "feel upset", if it's not for you, then you can move on. But you have to admit to yourself that when you call characters "red flags" etc it's just your lack of understanding towards the character (I am not saying you have to love them, but the bare minimum is understanding them), and reading less than 20 chapters doesn't tell you anything about the character, ESPECIALLY when the author decided to show you the character at their lowest/worst and from a very narrow lens (at the first few chapters). And as readers, we are not "excusing" Serena's bad habits, instead, we try to be compassionate and understand what circumstances led her to the point where she has to act this way (and yes, the circumstances she was in were extremely unfair and heartbreaking). People might argue that that isn't excuse enough for her actions, but no one in her situation would've remained a saint If someone acts "bad" at some point in their life, it does not mean that they need to be "canceled" forever. They also deserve to have a chance to correct their mistakes or bad habits

I saw little Eiser pictures and i just can't stop dreaming about their future son. I think he would resemle so much to his dad and we know that Serena's brother and eiser were friends so maybe they would name their son as Serena's brother's name (it was Harper i guess correct me if im wrong)
Serena told Eiser about the call and Victor, and it seems like their crazy father killed all his previous children so that no one would take his wealth. He then chose to get two after people advised him that he would not live forever and that he had to get an heir (Victor and Eiser). Eiser's mother became pregnant with a third child, and the father thought he was alive, so he wanted him dead. not sure, but the call that Serena heard was about that child. Eiser said that he thinks the child isn't alive, or maybe he was never born at all, and only his mother knows the truth. Anywaaaaayyyy Serena called Lovis because Eiser told her to ask him if she wanted to know more.and she was talking to him outside while Eiser was thinking about his kiss with Serena
This was such a satisfying and informative chapter . It had a real approach to the issue and Serena took the right steps to outplay her husband lol. We got important information about Eiser’s family he had a dysfunctional family compared to Serena. But things which bothered serena got resolved .They would only get closer due to this . Again Eiser reminisced how selfish Diyah is and tends to talk around the bush , but how Serena is bold and straightforward in everything and smiled .So for those who think he still has a thing for his ex nope lol. It’s similar to Serena having her first experiences and longings when it comes to Eiser and comparing to Fred with whom she never felt that way ,Eiser too got to experiences a lot of new stuff thanks to Serena’s nature. Also Eiser couldn’t stop thinking about their hot make out kiss lol.
