Spoiler: Who is Lynn

So she’s actually the daughter of the late emperor, being the Queen’s half-sister. Her real name is Evelyn, and she is an illegitimate child. She learned it when she got summoned by the Queen to come to the Imperial Palace, and met her. Her mother never talked about her father, and she looked nothing like her mother. Her mother was a maid in the Imperial Palace and gave birth in the annex. She could’ve been a concubine but choose to run away instead. When the emperor was in his death bed, he revealed to Regina that she had a sister and she desperately searched for her since then.

Spoiler: Reunion

Six months has passed since Lynn left the duchy and Martin see her after the end of a conference hall(?) while she was on an outing with her maid. He will first hesitate to meet her (seeing how she smiled brightly compared to the time she was with him crying, holding back tears) as she was leaving but soon after approach her and call her. (That's when i want to kms) Lynn stops as she heard him and look at him with an angry expression (BITCH CALLED THAT CUTE LET ME HOLD MY KNIFE) and just after her maid asks her if she wants her to intervene but Lynn will decline and ask her to be alone with him. Martin will ask her why did she left him and quickly notice her swollen belly which confirms to him that's she is pregnant with his child. He ask her why she left, and she said to protect him since he's getting engaged and she doesn't want her child to be taken away from her. Not feeling anymore anxious, he believes that he had now a reason to keep Lynn by her side again (again kms#2). He says he had broken the engagement and hoped some reactions from her but instead she turned her head and was about to leave. Right after, He forcefully bites her and then kisses her (kms #3). He will feel a sense of satisfaction as she will give up pushing him away and "accept him as he is"(#clown). FINALLY HE STOPS after Lynn bit his chest cause she's suffocating. Maid Nora arrived and they left with Martin not understanding why the maid called Lynn Evelyn. sighhhhhhh

These kinda plots are so hateful and ruin the rest of the story. Why would you run when you don't have a single relative or a caretaker you can trust your child with huh? They will have the child only for the kid to suffer...on top of it, they will die an untimely death.

Can someone confirm me if the maid was threatened or so? Cause to runaway just like that with the Emperor's child is pure delusional. I know she may be worried for the child's safety but if she can take risk to be with the Emperor (incase it wasn't consensual, then I take my words back) she can ask for a proper place for them to stay and resources to survive by in the very least. Poor child got beaten and abused half of her life.

This twat didn't even save her from his sister's abuse or fit his sister's nutbolt no?
Or he did but went abroad for study (like always) and wasn't able to interfere...one of those rugged excuses for sure will be the reason again for the same.

I won't be continuing the manhwa cause I've reached my breaking point with this. Both sister and brother duo are INSANE! There's something wrong with them, particularly in the head.

OR pretty much the above theory minus him loving the Empress but his one true love being Martin's mother, which makes Martin an illegitimate child thus him not wanting one (which is why he said to Evelyn about him not wanting the same).
