I was watching my favorite glizzy-hands streamer Atrioc and he came upon this insane Music AI Generator called "SunoAI" that only requires a prompt to generate any song in 30 seconds. (You may have seen it on the news as well as there are numerous tech articles from the last week.) It seems to be trained off of mainly pop music, so it's really good at generating pop music, but it's also good at generating other genres such as Bro-Country Music. One thing, which it was noted to be terrible at was generating rap songs. When you enter a prompt, it seems to scour the internet for data. There are a lot of flaws with it, especially pronunciation and obscure genres such as gregorian chant music. It's similar to how image generation Ai's have trouble with hands. It hits like 7/10 times and is scarily realistic. It's monetized, with a subscription model, but you get 10 free generations to test it out before it probably gets shut down. Fearing copy right you can't put an artists name or song in the prompt, but you can put "Very Popular Country Music with female vocals" when referring to like Taylor Swift music. It's likely that music artists that only generate AI music will start appearing like Image Generation AI artists, which will probably result in a X.com controversy. What I'd be more worried about is scams. I don't think they can create good music using AI. Music is about feelings and AIs don't have those. They lack empathy.
