But really, Eiser just turned out to be the greenest flag ML out of all angsty manhwas and mangas i’ve ever read. His monologue is everything I wanted to in any possessive ML’s POV. Him being excited to see Serena achieve all of her dreams and goals in life while he tries his best to make a peaceful and loving home for her is the sweetest. He’s possessive and over protective but not to the point where he stops her from being an independent woman. I know he still has long way to go before he becomes an ideal partner. I mean, man is still bad at relying his thoughts to Serena. He can’t even tell her all the sweet and kind things he says about her in his mind. Unlike Serena who is straight forward and doesn’t mind dropping all her pride just to have a better relationship with her husband. But he has one of the purest intentions for the MC out of all the MLs in this type of story. His obsession in breaking Serena’s strong facade during the first few episodes is now totally gone. He just now wants to see her thrive while doing his best to stay with her . AND WE NOW FINALLY SEE AN ALPHA ML WHO ASKS FOR SO MUCH CONSENT. AS IT SHOULD BE. Despite wanting to touch Serena so bad, he still chose to make sure that Serena is 101% sure with her decision. Though he did mention during the last panel that the reason he hesitates is not fully because of Serena’s decision but because he might regret it later on. As he might not be able to forget and moved on from her once they crossed the line. Which by the way is hot and sweet at the same time.
And what if, during the bed scene, Serena will bite down her moans and then Eiser will be like, “Don’t do that. Let me hear you, Serena”
Plus 100 to this analysis and am I the only one who actually don’t mind that he keeps a lot of inner thoughts and express himself through more actions than words (he drew the line w D in front of S, confronted his fam bcuz of her, silently took care of her himself rather than taking her home). This personality of his makes a great contrast to Serena’s bluntness and Serena doesnt seems to mind because she is now fully capable of reading him without him having to express himself verbally and occasionally know how to seek for more info when in need like talking to Lovis or Raul. This allows for Eiser to stay super true to his character while still leave room for growth. I’m sure Eiser will be better with words in the future just like how much we’ve seen Serena grow but I hope author doesnt completely write off his trait of actions over words. Love does not have to be verbally as long as the two understand each other and have a healthy balance (Serena speaks more for Eiser and Eiser acts out more for Serena). As long as they keep this dynamic and still maintain affections (so far so good), I do not mind one bit if none of them ever confess to each other in words because honestly, saying “I love you” is so overrated. Their relationship would be much deeper that way, and to borrow your words, truly “hot and sweet”.
Prediction for episode 85, which will probably leave us with a cliffhanger since it's the last one for this season: Serena and Eiser are off in their own world getting down to business (if ya know what I mean) when Fredrick comes back and sees the random bra in the elevator. I feel like author-nim left it there for a reason.
I actually think so too. He came too late . Or maybe Sui discovers it. So many scenarios but I know for sure this changes everything in the marriage. I forgot to say this Serena mentions this is the first time she initiated a kiss and that is so true. She always asked Fredrick to kiss her but she never kisses him in return even when he asked her.

That’s such a beautiful way to see their dynamic. And i have to agree with you. Their current dynamic is what keeps this entire story “spicy”. But I guess I just somewhat sees this in a real life situation. In which communication is always the number 1 way to keep a healthy relationship. I also somewhat remembers the chapter (ch 38) where Eiser complimented her verbally about how great she is doing as a business woman. And this lowkey yet reassuring comment from Eiser made her so happy and confident to the point where she stops wearing heels to hide her insecurities. So i guess even though we see Serena as a woman who understands Eiser’s behavior and love language, it would still be a great factor to their relationship if Eiser will say his beautiful thoughts and feelings into words. And although saying “I love you” is overrated (and cringe btw ), hearing it from someone as cold and tongue tied like Eiser means a lot to Serena who grew up hearing these loving words. Cause gurl, that’s going to be such a challenge to this man who’s only good at relying his love through actions. But yes, I actually think that their current dynamic has to stay a lot longer. Cause really, enemies to lovers trope tends to get boring once they start being lovey dovey. Like, wheres the angst?!? Or is it just me?? LOL.
I must say it was reassuring to read in his inner monologue that he would protect Serena with all his might because she's his last person (if the translation is ok, at least). The statement is clear, yet vague because it shows that he pretty much loves Serena at this point but his thoughts don't clarify where they stand yet as a couple. Also, his love is very restrained. He holds back a lot and maybe, just maybe, he does that because he's willing to sacrifice his relationship with Serena if he thinks it will ultimately protect her from Victor. So right there might be a source of angst for the story. My hope is that they become a team as per Eiser's own convictions about marriage/romantic relationships. He himself told Serena when they visited president Harold that husband and wife are a team, which is why the president had to shoulder the responsibility of his wife's actions. He also disliked that Dia acted on her own without consulting him first... So he does know that communication is important. I really wish that he will do his part to have a healthy relationship and communicate with Serena instead of having her ask other people including information brokers about himself because "that's what good businesspeople do". I know that Eiser has a lot of traumas and all that, but still. Like Serena said, if he keeps it up, nothing will change.
agree. Eiser makes our girl Serena work for him whether it is to beg for lovemaking or find out more info about him. He loves her which we all know but for some reason does not express it to Serena. I think it’s the fear that dumb Victor might harm her. We need the writer to make sure Victor ends up in prison.
100% communication is key! I’m sure those will come eventually thou I was giving credits to the ‘non-verbal communication’ that also got strengthen despite their current “flaws”. Because of their “opposite attracts” dynamic, I appreciate when one makes up for the other shortcoming instead of just being a loving couple that is super in-tune. Just like how Serena still remains feisty and make reckless decision at times i think Eiser’s “flaw” of not being good at expressing himself verbally makes him human, realistically introverted, and sweet. A true silent lover type! Yes, he should get better but he doesnt need to match Serena’s level (honestly man is alr so good at dirty talk just need some growth in the sweet department lol.) The casual complimenting her beauty and height are definitely good examples of realistic developments that he can use more of. I mean, he’s already a very green flag in thoughts and actions it’s fine if he has some drawbacks in words. There’s no more room for development if he turns completely green. And yes we need the angst!!! As long as they still have healthy fights like in previous chapter, I say we’re good!! If there will be any form of a verbal confession I just hope there’s plenty build up to make it rewarding like it better be on the same level or top the “calling Eiser by first name” moment not just a “kiss under the sunset saying i love you” korean drama ending…

New fan here!! I am all caught up with the latest chapter. Omg, I can’t believe there will be no new chapter this week. It’s hard to stay still and wait for the next chapter with that cliffhanger at the end. It’s been awhile since I last saw characters with interesting personalities and can’t predict how the story will unfold or end. I also love how the author cleverly present her storytelling in each chapters.
