I am not very sure about the exact chapter, but I also plan to start reading from this chapter, and then skip accordingly if I am starting it wrong. Just like you, my heart wouldn’t be able to take the trashiness and abusiveness of the moron ML, towards our unfortunate FL. So I just got the jist from manhwa and spoilers to help me with the setting. And am very much anticipating the regret and grovelling part. That should be satisfying.

made this account because i was reading the manhwa and... i read in here that the amnesia arc up to her running away lasts for a while(to chapter 40?.. and the manhwa is at 27 chapters.... so i want to ask if i have to skip the next 13 weeks because i dont like seeing Yvonna suffer.
Well, FL pregnancy with ML.... During Engagement day, FL escort that shameless woman, and suddenly Assassination. FL protect that woman and got killed (don't worry it's fake body - made by scare crow). FL pretending to be "died" with help of that b*stard (Benji - the one who cast a black magic - ML memory lost) and stay his state for awhile then went somewhere for good and give birth (twins). ML went crazy, and then after few days - memory return. And start collecting artifacts for resurrection (war after war for 7 years?) - unfortunately all fake. LoLz (Suffer more ML) hahahaha... Yeah me too.... *Crying*
Can anyone spoil about the suffering arc? So after the FL runs away, I wanna know the details of the ML going crazy and suffering. Lol I gotta satisfy my annoyance rn.
well if caught up on current manhwa chapter... Spoiler soon they'll move the 'engagement' between theo(jerk) and the evil woman(other jerk) up, and FL will be put on the protection detail, they'll get attacked and she'll die, but the body is actually fake, but that wont matter, she'll hide out at Ben''s(the fourth jerk) for a bit before leaving to different country to give birth and raise the twins. Thao(jerk) will end up getting the dark magic dispelled and he'll realize he fucked up and well... he goes completely mad enough to go after every country to get items to resurrect her. and thats just half of it. Then, Spoiler after a several year timeskip, i dont recall particulars but he ends up finding her i guess, but doesnt think the kids are his because magic changed their hair and eye colors. During this time She'll really put him through the ringer, he'll beg, grovel and cry, and i think try to kill himself? thats what i get off top of my head, the suffering might start in the next few chapters, and we'll either get a season end when she runs away or a tease into a timeskip.
While Theo is a jerk it's kinda understandable why he is like that. He had no one by his side to protect him ever since childhood. He was constantly in threat of being killed by Ernst's mother. I think he was taught to be ruthless or he himself learned to be ruthless to defend himself from all those assassin and be able to kill them without hesitation because if he can't do it, they would kill him. To him it was kill other before they kill you type of life until fl arrived. From what I saw from spoilers it seems Ernst's mom also spread rumours of being demon because he killed assasins that she sent and stuff. The most logical thing here would be ml just going along with the rumour because it's easier to survive that way since people would actually fear him as a demon and try to bother him and stuff. Overtime this new adopted personality for survival in a harsh place became his real personality because of him always or most of the time using that ruthless personality thing. When he and fl met fl was pretty young and he was already looking like a jerk so ml having to go through all that stuff since early age and stuff that he just doesn't know or have his real personality and the personality of ruthless person he took to save himself became his real personality. Not trying to defend ml's action but it's kinda understandable that ml ended up as what he is. It's just the past doesn't justify your present and no matter what even if you were pretending or stuff, that role you're pretending would still be part of you and stuff. Ml's behavior is understandable on why's he's like that but it's hard to justify some of his actions.
If you want to read the novel when the FL fake her death, ML delulu + pov about his fake relationship with Katarina (no skinship etc), its in Chapter 39. But if u want to read when FL found her determination to leave ML + writing her will, its in chapter 33. Well, before ML lost his memories, he only kind towards FL, meaning his personality is trash to others (like common mls thats fake his personality looks so kind infront of FL but so bad with others etc). After he lost his memories thats when he treated FL so bad. Basically FL was right that ML has trash personality and its showing. He deny his feeling to yvonne aka yves but get really jealous when yvonne hanging out with Benjamin eventho he brutally words assaulted her. But worries not because FL is strong, eventho her feelings get in the way but she still know her worth and start to treat ML harshly by spouting facts when he cross the line. 1. When ML knows the news about FL dead? Spoiler: News about FL dead Before the engagement ceremony start during his preparation while being delulu about FL in his mind "Of course she loves me. All my skinship with Katarina is fake, her pregnancy also fake. No man chastiste like me." Before the engagement day, FL kissed ML for the last time before she disappear & ML was stunned & hypocritely showing dislikes. But he cont to grab FL & kissed her even bring her to his bed with intention to sleep with her. Thats why he is super delulu on the next day. 2. ML reaction when seeing FL dead body Spoiler: ML reaction when seeing FL corpse He is super mad and ran towards the carriage that carried FLs body, he even push katarina aside when she was running towards him. ML kept FLs corpse in his bedroom, tormenting himself, crying, and in denial + he turned into an idiot (laughing) after reading FLs will that full with curse words. While FLs corpse infront of him, he imagined that FL infront of him and frowning and he went "So cute & lovely." 3. ML madness Spoiler: ML stays with FLs corpse After 3 days living with her corpse, Ersnt the 2nd prince tries to get FLs body but ML refuses and said because of him FL is waking up. His aide came and said gov affairs is pushed back, ML ask his aide to bring them to his bedroom, he will do the gov affairs with yvonne. He goes "If I leave, yvonne will be sad." (someone pls bring this man to a psychiatric hospital asap!) Btw ML brings every furniture & stuffs belongs to FL to his bedroom & the corpse is preserved with his divine power. His aide was shocked and went "Do you not hate Sir Yves?. You always harrasing and kicking his (yves aka yvonne) out." ML answered "Are u too have been tricked by Enrst? What nonsense are u talking about? I love her so much." He continues "Right, yves?" and smiled at the corpse.
From previous spoilers I thought his madness is like every other MLs out there but reading your spoiler.... just wow... he's beyond mad, he's insane, he needs doctor ASAP... What about Katarina? Is she truly pregnant? How about her reaction seeing ML going batshit crazy like that? I suppose after this ML get his memories back and we will get the redemption arc?
