Can someone spoil? What direction will her relationship with the three ducal brothers be like? Will they regret? Will her origins be explored? Edit* Nvm I finished reading it myself hehe... It was a good novel but I feel that there were some things that still weren't resolved.. the main story has finished.. I don't know if there will still be side stories.. hopefully there is cause at the end of the last chapter the author indicated <the main story is completed> which means there could still be side stories
Spoiler: The siblings In the end, it was only Rodrick, the youngest of the brothers, who looks like he will hopefully change for the better. He's the only one who acknowledged that Odette was the one who saved their lives and thanked her. He also was really disappointed in the eldest brother Mikhail and the only one who acknowleged Berry as the new successor. Still, since their relationship (Odette and Rodrick) was already so strained, besides the fact that he was the meanest to Odette before, they still could not form a good sibling relationship. At most they'll probably still be awkward around each other. The worst trash of the brothers is the eldest Mikhail. Throughout the novel -until before the climax, I thought he will change for the better because he seemed the most decent out of the three, but NO, like the Duke, I was so so disappointed and disgusted by him. He is a misogynist. The duke said that he's not only unqualified as a successor, he also is not qualified to be a husband. He really deserved to be kicked out of his successor position. He's so disgusting as a human being that I feel so sad for the Duke and Duchess for having a son like him. I thought he was someone so caring to his newly returned sister but he's just a trash that looks down on women. Colin, the second son, is also trash but there's not much to say about him cause he never really had much role in the novel. He was a typical trash that only blindly follows the eldest, he didn't have moment like Rodrick's -when he acknowledged being saved by odette, and he also didn't acknowledge berry as the new heir when it was first announced by the duke. The things these three have done to Odetter were so awful. Thankfully Berry came back as the long lost daughter who hates noblemen and has only sided with Odette from the start. In this novel, only the Duke and Berry treated Odette as a family. Spoiler: Odette's origins Nothing was said about it. She really was just an orphan who coincidentally resembles the late Duchess because of her platinum blonde hair and green eyes. Spoiler: FL and ML and how they met FL: Odette Odelia Grisel She's the adoptive daughter of the duke and is considered as the eldest daughter. She was adopted when she was about 8-10 years old because she resembled the late Duchess with her platinum blonde hair and green eyes. However when it was checked with the temple and the wizards, it turned out she wasn't the lost daughter. Still, the Duke brought her home and adopted her, and treated her like a real daughter. (Huhu seriously the Duke is one of the best Rofan fathers out there) ML: Shaitan/Raphael Efresco Alter Karem (spelling might be wrong since I only mtl-ed it) He's the Crown prince of the empire and has an alter ego called Shaitan who is a wizard. As Raphael, he has black and purple eyes. As Shaitan, he has silver and Red eyes. The Empress spread rumours that he is a wanderlust that is neglecting his responsibilities as a prince, but the truth is, he is the one handling the emperor's duties behind the scenes. He cares for his younger sister. There is no specific age stated but he is in his twenties(he's probably 20) and is older than Odette-who is officially 16 years old. However since Odette was an orphan whose real age is unknown, she said that she's probably a year or two older than berry(the youngest daughter of the duke who just turned 16) so she's probably 17-18years old. Still, officially, she's the same age as Berry but berry treats her as an older sister. (There was also a point where there are nobles who treats them as twins even though they don't look alike, so they used that as a theme for their first tea party which was cute hehe) How they met: When Odette awakened as a wizard, there was an explosion of mana in her body, which caused her to collapse. The doctor cannot find out the cause so the Duke invited a Wizard and a Priest. Divine powers doesn't work on wizards so it only caused discomfort to Odette. Then the wizard checked and she was fine and it was confirmed that she is indeed a wizard. The Wizard introduced himself as Shaitan and he is the ML.. Shaitan stayed to teach Odette how to handle her mana and about magic. He became her teacher. He also told her that she could come with him to the Magic tower since all wizards in the empire are welcomed and protected there, but she chose to stay for awhile to help Berry for their social debut and teach her how to become a noble. Shaitan and Odette developed a close friendship.
As Raphael, the crown prince. He can actually not only transform as Shaitan, but he can also create another shaitan that he can control (kinda like shadow clones in naruto except it's harder for raphael to maintain one, because whatever information the puppetShaitan receives and whatever he sees or feel gets transmitted to raphael in real time, but raphael only has one brain)

The fact that ML's alter ego is named shaitan makes me hesitate a bit cuz I'm scared lmao in other languages 'shaitan' means devil (literally) and i would never, in my life would call what was meant to be the dashing charming ML shaitan cuz holy hell that sounds evil like irredeemably & inhumanely diabolic - in that sense. Idk but this alt ego's name just rubs me in a bad way so I'll be best off ignoring this name or - looking ay the spoilers of character developments - might not be continuing. I'll probably just camp here for spoilers cuz the premise of this story is good & a bit refreshing in which they use plot twist in typical father-daughter/sister fool brothers tropes even if not out of this world. Disappointed in the trinity of idiots' development mostly but Berry honestly saves this story. If she wasn't one of the main characters i wouldn't even hesitate to skip altogether (sorry author)
The ML's name being pretty much 'Satan' sent me. The author tried to be edgy but it entered cringe territory a little bit. Otherwise the story is pretty fun tbh.
Thank you for the wonderful Spoilers! I just read the manhwa adaptation, and the art style is mediocre, but I really like this story! I really appreciate that the narrative avoids the REAL DAUGHTER VS FAKE DAUGHTER TROPE. Berry is the best!!!!! She is not depicted as the Evil Jealous White Lotus Bitch or the annoying innocent fragile flower. That Tomboy is so confident bold and so strong that she can defend abused FL Odette, criticize her 3 biological trash Brothers for their shit sexist behaviour very openly and even beat them up with her own strength! And I like that Berry grew up in a loving Adoptive Blacksmith Family! You have to love the fact that it is Berry who empowers Odette, not the Royal ML. Best Moments By the way, I didn't expect the Duke Father being a decent self-reflective human being who punishes harshly his three idiot sons for disrespecting and mistreating the FL/Adoptive Fake Daughter! It's very subversive for a RoFan Tale. Also appreciate that FL Odette has no special plot twist origin. She is just an orphan who happens to have the mana affinity of becoming a mage/wizard. Well it's been so long since I've last read this, so i might mix up some info from the ones I've currently been reading. However to answer your questions... Would you say that the Badass Powerhouse Real Daughter / Great Sister Berry gets sidelined in favor of the Mage ML Shaitan/Raphael? I don't think anyone gets sidelined here.. i think the other characters gets all the proper amount of show and character development in this story. BUT i think the novel is also centered and focused on the fl and ml's relationship/development, as it is a romance novel, so it might look like other characters gets sidelined in favor of ml... Who is officially the deuteragonist or tritagonist? Hate it when the second Female Main Character loses her position as the deuteragonist, so the narrative can make room for the Male Lead..... For me, I consider berry as the deuteragonist.. or shaitan or the crown prince before they were shown to be the same person and confirmed to be ml... For the tritagonist, I don't think there's a sole/single tritagonist.. cause there are quite a few important characters from the mage tower, but the brothers' importance in the story are on the same level as them.. methinks I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's just I've read a lot of other novels after this one so I might've missed up or mixed up on some details.. also english is not my first language hehe Spoiler: Why he's called shaitan There is a reason why he chose his alter ego's name as shaitan.. exactly because it's from 'satan'.. but that is because... the real enemies here are the church and priests.. i already forgot the details, but I remember that the church is corrupted by empress, and they are behind the child kidnappings/traffickings so they could experiment with them
