spoiler + controversial rant the beginning was great up until the point she found out she wasn’t gonna die. author probably ran out of ideas so they just threw some random bullshit to make it interesting. they took a very kind female lead and made me dislike her. after a certain point MC becomes so selfish. she left Ml because she didn’t want to die in front of him. however, when she finds out she’s cured and not gonna die, instead of solving the misunderstandings and returning to the heartbroken ML, she decides to go on a trip with another man. she was supposed to go on a trip with ml but instead she goes with SML while ML is in shambles. in addition to this, she is constantly being touchy and affectionate with SML despite claiming she loves ML so much. she’s complimenting him and is parading around as the SML’s “wife” while our poor ML is searching everywhere for her. PLUS she’s also hurting SML by leading him on when she’s obviously going to return to the ML. SML tried convincing MC that ml is gonna hurt her when he finds her SML didn’t send her letter to him and instead just sent a hair piece so the misunderstandings continue. SML tried fooling ML that she was dead the only one who is innocent is ML. yes he killed ppl but for good reason. he’s never done anything to hurt MC and he’s always trying his best to protect her. MC shamelessly pursued him, pushing boundaries and kissing him, making him fall for her even though she knew she was gonna eventually leave him. she pulled him out of the abyss just to shove him back in. then she does the same with the SML only she doesn’t come back to SML and chooses ML so SML stays in the abyss.
Is this the season 1 manhwa finale you're talking about because if so, I also have QUESTIONS!!! I only read the MTL scans (too impatient to wait for it to be free on Webtoon .-.) but it seems like she was in a hostage situation and she didn't want Asrahan to get hurt because of her, especially when she was going to die soon, so she was trying to sacrifice herself so she couldn't be used against him. It kind of seemed like a psycho shadow guard (or something) of Duke Blanche was supposed to kidnap or kill her and instead tried to keep her for himself or something? Edit: s1 finale = 70 in novel. I skimmed the previous few chapters and 70 and I think I interpreted the manhwa MTL correctly. Spoiler: What happens next The bracelet Doha gave her will activate and he will come save her. It takes a week for her to wake up again. Ugh I know the novel is short (and completely TLd) but based on the spoilers idk if I can handle actually reading her running away lol /// Does anyone know what the heck Doha even needs to be healed for? Idk if I just missed it in the manhwa, but I don't think it was covered.
