I'm sorry, I know absolutely nothing about the story I also only read the webtoon.
I was just lucky enough to be able to skim through the last chapter and these two were very obviously together, which is why I was able to share the name of the ML with you guys, but that's pretty much it.

 

Spoiler: Ending of main story

• FL and ML are hospitalized. FL is complaining why are they in the same room men and women have different bodies. FL said all this to hide her surging emotions she was talking to Orun to which he says that this room was very special it was a recovery room royal family was proud of because there were blessings on every wall of the room, it fastens the recovery rate.
• FL is like yea I get it.... Orun continues to tell her how much ML was worried about her, even in such a bad state he commanded that FL should be looked after first since she is in much weaker condition, FL's face turned red the first thought that came to her mind was that it's not a lie ML loves her, FL also acknowledge her feelings.
• Revil was also there and was like he must admit that ML and FL were in that kind of relationship FL overreacted after listening to him but he was no longer listening to her.
• So it seems there is some imprint formed b/w the leads and it's unbreakable by 3rd party because of this imprint they can't separate it won't go until they die, Revil says that regardless he'll still stay by her side but is interrupted by Orun. FL thinks she don't want anymore men in her life goes on to think about her former fiancé abandoning her and her student who is actually a demon and wants to destroy the world.
• FL eats rests and sleeps, wake up in the afternoon to check on ML there was a veil b/w their beds when she lifts it she saw ML sleeping peacefully reminding of a time long ago she saw him like that their childhood kiss comes to her mind and after so many twists and turns they meet again. "why are you looking at me like that" ML opens his eyes, FL looked at him for a long time, strong emotions aroused there were countless moments where she wanted to hold his hand but in the end he held her hands.
• "I'm sorry" FL apologizes to him for the engraving continuing by saying that by this time he already know about her situation as a side effect of demon summoning ritual. FL says if ML wants she'll do her best to find a way to undo the engraving, she felt like crying. "What are you talking about" he asks her if she wants to undo it, FL nods ML is like no way I don't want to lose it, he can finally hold her now.... so if she ever wish to remove the imprint sure they can do it but the condition being she should never leave his side, else he'll die without her.
• ML continues if she don't like it she should say it now, but now that he know how she feels he won't let her go if she'll run he'll chase her and hold her in his arms so she should not push him away with lies. And if there is still hatred in her heart for him he'll stay by her side and do his best to work with it. FL thinks something like hatred was long gone it was a false hatred she had for him so that she won't fall for him. Just FL was about to tell him ML confesses to her "I love you" as long as you live I'll fall for you again and again.
• FL felt like her eyes were getting teary she almost confessed she love him as well but instead thank him for saving her life but her feelings were so visible ML instantly got the answer of his confession he felt her emotions. They kissed very gently ML was like if FL wants to lie down she should open her mouth that way it would be more practical "Gibberish" she said with wet eyes but slowly she did that and emotional kisses were exchanged.
• ML pulled her gently and asked now tell me what your heart says and if she can't answer it she can just tell him how she feels right now "....I like you" but instead of answering more she kissed him again, they talk about their past (?) FL asks ML if he want to hear her say she loves him ML is like ofc so much so he can trade his life for it. Okay so MTL is confusing idk who is the one who forgot their first kiss but ML and FL have met in childhood, fell in love at that, and shared a kiss but it's most likely from this line that FL is the one who remembers it and is grumpy that's why she just don't want to confess it yet.
• FL continues to say although she feels very happy she want ML to guess who her first love was ML frowns and is like who that guy Lei Zhen Luo FL is like no he should guess again.
• Now night came ML FL were sharing the same bed, it was beautiful starry night they can see moonlight and starlight entering through the window. FL asked about the imprint what will happen if they maintain it will their anger get doubled if they fight ML is like it's childish worry to which FL says why there can be fights when they start dating ML says he'll do whatever she wants FL kisses him she can feel ML's emotion unlike past him this version is so sweet he swears he'll never hurt her, never abandon her and she won't regret anything.
• FL thinks how she have done everything from hurting people to antagonizing them but never love (okay I don't get it like they fell for each other when they were kids but now this....?) FL laughs softly they lie down like a couple from forehead to forehead ohhh okay now I think ML knows FL's real identity so now he says to her people say that he don't have emotions but after meeting her again it's not that he don't have feelings it's just he is late he may have been born as a person with emotional delay to give her all his emotions ML whispers this affectionately.
• The line "It's not that you don't have feelings, you are just dull and a little late" was what FL used to say him when they were young, hearing him say that she was surprised. Even though after many years of forgetting her ML still fell in love with her again. "Love me a lot" FL whispered "Make me an unbreakable oath" ML promised and his vow was never broken.

I feel like i lose a part of my soul whenever the ML isn't the one with long hair. THIS IS A CRIME!!!

Yeah. He already doubts it bcz she has already revealed her fan in front of him.
As for liking her, I think he doesn't realise this himself. Since he always thought that he wanted her to work for him like a subordinate so this means that he himself doesn't realise it. Of course this is my perception of the story, after reading the manhwa but novel might be different.

 

I have a question, who is the real owner of the body? What's her identity?
It seems like she has a sister, and she felt guilty about something. And even though it's said she lost contact with her dad, that's actually not the case. Who's the long haired guy appeared in the manhwa, who seems to know her dad. And what's her dad's identity?
Is the FL that sister of owner of the body she is possessing or something?

 

There are so many MLs with short, black hair, blue eyes and fair complexion... Yet another ML with short, black hair!

Regardless of the story, I would have preferred the ML to be the one with the long brown hair.

I don't understand why some authors and artists don't get more creative in choosing hair color, eye color, and skin tone...

I would like to see more ML characters with long (or short hair), brown, red, pink, green, light or dark blue, light and dark gray (silver), white... Same for eye and skin color. I would like to see more characters with dark/light brown skin tones.

The existing color palette is however so varied... It's really a shame and boring to see, too often, the same style of ML!

 

Most of the stories like this are the always end game is a crown prince and/or soon to emperor.. but I'll give this story a chance ..

 

I'm more interested in the conflicts and main events. Please, I beg of thee......

 

I feel you, like we need more long haired gorgeous men as male leads. We don't need black haired male lead with blue eyes number 987,640

So true!! Imagine we got ourselves a fluffy long haired grey haired male lead with a bit of white highlights, with golden eyes with blue irises (not me describing Sunday from Star Rail, I'm desperate for unique male leads at this point ). Wouldn't that be so cool??
