Ok, taste is personal so maybe it is a novel you liked, but for me it had the worst male lead ever. I don't remember the title or where i read it and i can't find it with the novel finder. I remember the general plot, though i could confuse some stuff. I don't remember if it is NSFW, though i think it at least wasn't focused on the NSFW part. The story begins with the female protagonist who is a daughter of a noble family and doesn't want to marry her fiance, who is the king? the emperor? the crown prince? something like that. So she devises a plan: she will lose her virginity and then the marriage should be called off. She goes to a party, she finds a guy and they go in a bedroom. In reality the guy is her fiancee, iirc it was a coincidence. She doesn't know it is her fiance and iirc he also doesn't know who she is. But he falls in love with her so to make sure she can't escape later iirc he secretly ruins the contraceptive they are using (maybe it was contraceptive magic?). Afterwards he find her and iirc to make sure he would recognize her he also left a mark on her with royal exlusive magic or something that identifies the royal's consort. After he finds her he forces her to go to the palace (i can't remember if they marry at that point or not). The protagonist should be angry with him since he forced her to go to the palace and everything, but she has a thing for military uniforms, he coincidentally shows up in one and yeah, she can't resist the uniform... I remember this specific part because it was so messed up. Then there is also the protagonist's male childhood friend, who kind of like her i think? He goes to visit her in the palace, the interactions are awkward and then the novel shows for a while how sad he is. I stopped reading around there. I would like to find it again because i always bring it up when i talk about horrible toxic romance stories but i can never give the title.
This sounds very familiar and just the type of trashy romance I like. I'll check my lists and see if I can find it.
Outaishihi ni Nante Naritakunai!!? I vaguely remember ever read this one and the beginning is similar to what you're looking for. I didn't read that far tho
I just came back after combing through my lists and you beat me to it. It's "Outaishihi Ni Nante Naritakunai!!". I dropped it at chapter 255. It just got boring for me and turned into a slice if life.
Thanks, it was that one. I remembered some details wrong it seems, and that's why i couldn't find it. I was searching while excluding the Reincarnator tag because i was convinced the protagonist wasn't one. I am impressed by your speed btw, you found it in 30 minutes.
