I've only read one novel close to anything like that, but it doesn't quite have confinement. I mean, in a sense, yes, but they aren't put in a cage and kept as a pet. They get a bigger cage. My favorite is Secret Nights in the Inner Palace . Go to the translator site and get the PDF. That's the best version. How to Survive as a Villain is also really good. The manhua is completed and one of my favorites. It's not an abusive gong book at all and the sex is consensual. Forced to Marry the Enemy Prince was surprisingly cute, yet thrilling. I didn't get to finish because the MTL gave me a headache, but the translator finished it now. There's forced marriage and Stockholm Syndrome. Didn't see rape or abuse. Not all the books have the tropes you are looking for. But I list if it's nonconsensual, extreme, or whatever. Most have some sort of dubcon like forced marriage, kidnapping, CNC.
I don't know if you read Korean novels but there are a couple of good ones that I think fit what you're looking for. They're not translated yet though so you'd have to get them as raws on RIDI. I was thinking about translating them myself once I'm done with my current projects but I don't know how much of a demand there is for that? haha. But the novels are Rose Oil Painting (우아한 파괴) and Story of a Villian (악인담), both are written by an author called Dang Mil (당밀) and both have kidnapping, confinement, non-con/dub-con, Stockholm syndrome, etc. Story of a Villian was good and although I haven't finished reading Rose Oil Painting yet, that's also been good so far. There's another one I'm translating atm that has these themes too but not sure if it's suited since ML is very violent and pretty terrible, esp in the beginning lol
