Well, first thing to say is hello there. I'm quite new to this so bear with me while I figure out how to use the spoiler feature. Mind you I haven't read the novel, but from a compilation of reviews of people who bought the actual book this may not be a complete depiction of the whole story. Spoiler: Spoiler Reviews There's about 177 chapters. There is no ML, there is no Love Interest, basically there is no Romance in the novel. -Though who knows what they'll do in the manwha. They could follow the 'Who made me a Princess' approach and change the storyline. The plot itself is actually quite similar. With that said everyone seems to be in agreement that the novel started off strong yet dwindled in the middle and left a lot of them dissappointed with the open end. There were jibes at the author on whether or not they got sick of or hated their own creation. Kiera comes from a spiritual family who for generations were blessed by god, so you could say they were like Guardians of the Empire. Not much is known about their divinty since there is some sort of pact made with the Temple not to study it. The Grand Duke originally had two wives, the first one being ousted (and I'm not sure -assasinated) for some political reasons by what it seems to be the machinations of the second wifes family. This is where Cosette was able to find her footing within the household since it seems she also shares a resemblance with the first wife. The wife did have a baby in her stomach, but it was a son not a daughter. Going back to the blessing, there is a rule that to avoid Chaos and Calamity they have to treasure the spirit weilder who in this case is Kiera. Which is why when Cosette appears there is confusion as to who the real daughter is, since keeping the fake might incure the wrath of the gods. -Well they killed off the real one and kept the fake one what do you think happened? As you see in the Manwha she was brought back, exactly two months before Cosette arrives. All due to a magician and maybe the father, it didn't say. They don't go into further details, but you can surmise that Cosette herself is not a normal person since she is able to deal with magic not spirit since that ability is only belings to Kiera. But from what I gather she is able to use it to her abilites that it resonates with Kieras water spirits, que stealing Kieras Thunder. As the story goes it's your predictable I'll go my own way and forget about you while I start my new life while I investigate and steer clear of death flags. The Father takes notice since he is now being ignored. She is now friends with the knights and also shares hobbies with the maids. She does at one point fall for a blonde jerk in the gambling Hall, but it seems shortlived and he was disposed of quickly enough. The biggest gripe people have with the story itself was that they made such a big deal with Cosette, but she was taken care of completely in the 2nd half of the novel. The latter half of the series was pointless fillers which didn't go anywhere and for all the fuss about the Great Water Spirit, it was never mentioned again which left the readers frustrated. ....is what they say, I'm just repeating what I read. So please take this spiel with a grain of salt since the interest of other people are vast and vary greatly. It's open to interpretation. The Manwha itself seems to be diverging from the original and I'm enjoying reading it.

it seems like the author took inspiration from wmmap and the artist is jabbing at it with the chibi resemblance , although don’t know if it’s intentional. Father is a jerk, how can you not even compliment the child man. Whether he was manipulated by some magic or not.. point is he ignored her efforts since she was a child. This pattern is getting repetitive in these webnovels and webtoons. I can see the "who made me a princess" vibe but I get much more of a "Villainess Reverses The Hourglass" feel from this. The opening reminds me so much of villainess reverses the hour glass, Cosette might as well be a body double for Mielle, right down to that whole let me get a few last digs in before she dies. Don't have the korean but the buildup is looking the same as well Cosette constantly framing and provoking the MC, pulling her white lotus act. All very similar to hourglass I'd really like to see more about TL1 thought it was a shame we didn't get that in VRTH I believe that there's a prophecy the duke's daughter will be a saint the country needs in a time of crisis so when the crisis came I guess it was an oops moment. I'd really like to see the MC just confront him with what happened and leave before the crisis. Even without the execution he was a crap dad Spoiler: Plot Overview Manga CH 2-18 No korean here so there maybe error CH 2-5 It's the original timeline prior to the execution We get to see Cosette provoking the MC into incidents that are witnessed and reported to the Duke , she's also flaunting affection and closeness with the duke that he's never shown the MC. This gradually causes the MC to lose her stack. She tries to summon the spirits succeeds Cosette robs them somehow and it's off to the guillotine for our girl End CH 5 she wakes up in her bed alive and well CH6 She's freaking out on her bed, she gets up running through the halls flash forward to her memory of prison and a kid that looks like the duke's clone visiting her. She runs into him in the hall. Cut to the duke he's having a nightmare about the execution Note she seems noticeably younger in this chapter CH 7 the duke is working but troubled by memories meanwhile the MC is trying to research Cosette, the prophecy and the church. Be a nice idea if she could just manifest her spirits early for dad but we know that won't happen. At the end she's watching the knights train and appatently being friendly Note she seems to be back to full size? CH 8 Either the knight captain is a giant (both standing he looks 1.5 feet taller than her) or she's short and Cosette is a munchkin. Anyway she does something for the knights that makes the, very happy. CH 9 She's in the dukes office (taller again) it looks like a tense conversation at the beginning it looks like she might be ready to throw the hpuse crest on her uniform at him or some such gesture at the end she seems to have just disappeared on him Next up she's having tea with the knight captain apparently she's blushing like a tomato so lets tag him as a potential ML After that they go to tavern with knights it looks like medieval dave and busters CH 10 still at the tavern.She bonds with the knights by drinking a tankard of ale LITERALLY BIGGER THAN HER HEAD. They are going to have to carry this girl home in a bucket. Apparently the red haired gold eyed knight says something thst brings her to tears. She goes home knight captain kicks annoying knight in the shin CH 11 Next morning she's waking up some hangover? Looks like she is trying to bond with her maid over romance and general girly things, might be clothes? Next up she is having tea outside the estate the annoying knight shows up they're friendly. Getting definite 2nd ml vibes from him It's night time she's reading I'm guessing family history, There's a blond blue eyed man taking serious advantage of a red haired blue eyed woman. Not sure if the man is the duke but the scene sets off the MC guessing the woman is hers or cosettes mom or it's just a novel and she is having an extreme reaction CH 12 Next morning she's finishing the book maid comes looks like she is holding back laughter makes me lean towards romance novel She's back in the library researching the prophecy and spirits Leaving the library she overhears a bunch of maids talking about romance they notice her much embarrassment all around CH 13 The duke is heading off somewhere as he is getting into the carriage he looks back to see if the MC is looking for him. Hint: She's not! This triggers another memory episode. I get the feeling the duke is going to be the POV character for the post execution TL MC is having tea and considering a party invitation, she recalls how Cosette was able to socially isolate her and decides to go. Her maid (redhead and about a head taller than MC) is ecstatic The Duke is back he seems sour, MC is chatting with the butler, duke shows up conversation shifts to religious/spiritual matters CH 14 The converation with the MC, duke and butler in the dining room now hasa gaggle of maids and it seems to have taken a shocking turn She sees the ML and spare tire, runs to meet them, dpare tire bows out there's excited blushing. Consider it done the knight captain is the ML. All that's left is for her to hug a pillow and roll around CH 15 She has blond noblewoman over for tea. Not sure who she is relative maybe? Anyway they talk about magic and the duke, we get an image of him? using tendrils of magic to juggle books DUDE WHAT DID THOSE BOOKS DO TO YOU? MC is on the entrance hall apparently waiting to go to a party maid she had beaten in TL1 shows up with a book looking nervous. Guess she was reading that cough smut cough romance novel. MC bonds a little more with the maids over the book ML shows up dressed in white to take her to the casino CH 16 They pick up mini duke ( is he the dukes real other child?) Spare tire, and female knight then head to the casino. Looks like they win a fair bit (truly a fantasy novel) and MC catches the eye of a blond haired geen eyed aristocrat. Think we saw him with cosette in CH 1 CH 17 they're in the casino they've won a bit an move over to high stakes game against a shady guy (seems like good planning) MC wins some, shady guy starts to cheating blond guy from last ch shows up trounces shady guy and takes MC's hand (love rival?) CH 18 she's in the casino having romance novel thoughts about blond guy later she goes home has floral bath and starts huging her pillow RIP KNIGHT CAPTAIN punk gambler looks like he's taking over. P,S. apparently this world has airships, Flying boats suspended from balloons and propelled by magic. Sounds safe to me
