    Hey NUF,

So after recently getting caught up on The Gam3 and absolutely loving it, I was wondering if you guys had any other LitRPG favorites you could suggest.

For those of you unfamiliar with this genre, it can more or less be categorized as novels that have status screens, level systems, skill systems, damage indicators, and other game elements that you wouldn't normally find in traditional literature. Most VRMMO novels seem to fall under this category but it seems to have taken on an entire genre on it's own.

I've read most of the VRMMO stuff here on NU, as well as the Chaos Seeds series, but I'm looking for more.
Ideally it would be along the lines of The Gam3, with a nice sci-fi/mystery quality to it(these are the main reasons I enjoyed it as much as I did.)

    Let me know!

Gods of Blood and Bone by Azalea Ellis was pretty good. I also liked the Way of the Shaman books by Vasily Mahanenko. Other than that, the Play to Live books by D. Rus are a classic if you haven't already read them. I also liked Awaken Online by Travis Bagwell, and the Mirror World books by Alexey Osadchuk weren't too bad..

Read pretty much all of those, like I said, have more or less read all the LitRPG stuff on NU. Was looking for some good reading recommendations on either Kindle Unlimited, RRL, or other web novel sites.

I like the world building that the author's done. It does start off slow, and there are some parts drag, but I really like the mystery and scale of the world he's created. That and the tech is pretty interesting. There's a lot more going on in the story than the simple quest/grind/quest/grind/raid cycle most VRMMO novels seem to follow. The whole hacking explanation was probably the most boring part of the novel imo, but after getting past that a lot of the mystery keeps me interested in what's going to happen next.

The New World on RRL. One of the best litRPG's I read, followed by the Arcane Emperor, the Change: New World, No Respawn; though the third and the fourth one are on hiatus. Also, the order they're in is my personal ranking from TNW at first place

I personally typically find litrpg to be extremely underwhelming, but I must say that The Gam3 did a very solid job with its world building and setting with a decent plot. The characterization does leave much to be desired, but that's the standard for litrpg anyway.

    I'll recomend some RRL novels:
    Shovels in spades (Ongoing 324pages)
King of the mountain (Ongoing 386pages) Alittle boring
Everybody likes large chests (Ongoing 3184pages) monster protagnist, perverted and abit grim storyline-
The slime dungeon (Ongoing 1122pages) Dungeon building
Dungeon heart (Ongoing 533pages) Dungeon building
When plush comes to shove (Ongoing 748pages) Not much Litrpg but recomend
Approaching ascension (Ongoing 483pages) Not much Litrpg, more cultivation
Fantasia ( Ongoing 754pages) Comedy VRMMO
Insania online ( Ongoing 2395pages) Comedy VRMMO
    The Snake report (Hiatus 447pages)
The defective hermit (Dead 1432pages) Community building in the apocolypse
Life in a new world (Dead 448pages ) Fastpaced, well-written

I think it is overrated and the maincharacter is completely irrelevant to the story which makes the story just bad.
I just discussed with @L4 yesterday or two days ago why it is bad. But no gonna repeat everything here.
The whole story would be much better if the AI chip wouldn't be such an overpowered cheat. I'm quite sure the author also realized it later on in the story, but at this point it was already to late to change.(Causes: No editors and only small changes possible after it is published since it is immediately posted once he had written it)

Edit: There are some good stories on Royal Road so go and check it out!

Add 'A Breath of creation'. It is my favourite on RR. Others would be the Iron teeth and maybe the one withthe Ghosthound?

The MC is reincarnated as a deity and has to create his own universe and people and gods, divine beasts living there. The best novel on Royal Road from my humble point of view. Steady updates and high quality since a year now gives hope for the future. The boss of the MC talks to him by using stauts windows
