Nope. In my country, it's common for teachers to "ship" some students and make some of them the "poster couple" of the class and become the representatives in some school activities, like pageants. Sometimes, most of the class would join in on the shipping. I've always thought that it must've been uncomfortable to be on the receiving end of such teasing, that I never could bring myself to ship my friends with each other or with someone else.

Well... I've thought certain guys might have been good or bad for particular gay friends of mine. But that's more like knowing my friend's personality and knowing whether someone would be a good fit or not. I don't think it's exactly shipping? Maybe? I do the same thing with friends that aren't gay, so... more like "I should really introduce Single Friend A to Single Friend B because they would likely be compatible."

I have! It's often with couples though -- a lot of my friends are currently dating -- so ship all the guys together. xD Also sometimes we ship ourselves and poke fun that we're better couples for each other than our SO's. It's mostly to tease the SO's though

No, I don’t. As I explained to someone else the other day, I ship fictional characters three ways to Sunday, but I want to respect real people for their real choices. I tried once, for a time, to read fanfiction about actors, but it just made me uncomfortable. I had an easier time if I imagined they were playing their characters instead, but I try to avoid those types of fanfiction when I can anyway.
i don't think i ever have they are all too ugly....sorry, not ikemen enough...to be BL also cause i separate my real life with my otaku life i think comparing anime character with real life human is insulting anime world and vice versa, as in comparing real life human with anime character is insulting real life human they are not the same no amount of value can be compare to anime character the same also for real life human all in all...i highly regard anime character while real life human is just 'meh' for me but still, i respect real life human by not comparing them with anime character
