this is really really short figment of whatever novel i cant seem to remember... MC is taken by his master along mountain by walking all the steps...the ancestral temple which is gaurded by a tree..raised by their predessors??...they walk along the steps to the peak of the mountain where the ancestral hall is located...Mc is taken there to inherit technique? also kind of remember there being another monkey man? at the ancestral temple??
