How to smile?

I always seem in pain or like I'm about to kill someone when I smile help

I try to laugh silently, and not smile too widely.

 

Once you kill someone for real, your smile will feel completely natural!

 

If you are trying to smile, you are doing it wrong. I've never looked good with a fake smile. When you genuinely feel good, your smile will look good.

 

Don't show your teeth. Don't squint your eyes too much. Slightly perk up your lips.

Agreed....cause you smile with more than just your lips, it's an action that includes your whole body really, but mostly your eyes and mouth.

I always eat watermelons and a smile naturally came out. Plus, whenever my siblings have bad luck, a grin would pop out of my face. How about eating some watermelons?

 

Whenever you try it, think of cute baby kittens beforehand. That should help

 

But in school pictures you have to try to smile, and i never feel good when its picture day (_　_|||)

Screw smiling. Just put on an aloof & cold aura like you're some kind unreachable queen/king, & they're all just a bunch of peasants, unworthy to see your smile. That should cover it up

 

Have a friend nearby who can make you laugh, or if you're autistic enough like me just think of something funny that happened to you. Pretend smiles look shit even in photographs, it's gotta have some genuinity behind it to look good for most people.

See example: My avatar. Just look at that kind, heart-warming smile. You know something good's happened to Donovan here and you know he wants to share the love with the world. He's just a lovely person like that.

 

lol well you see whenever I try and do that something embarrassing always happens. Like I try to act like those ice queens in novels, have a rbf on and walk straight with head held high but then I end up tripping over my feet or crashing into someone.

 

You can choose one of the following:

1) Recall a happy or embarrassing time. Such as when it's New Year and you got angpow from you relatives. Or when you make a love confession and you were so embarrassed you ran away from the one you confessed. You will naturally make a sweet smile without even realizing it. Normally, people will be able to pick up on this and they may ask you, "Did something good happen?" An embarrassed smile and a happy smile looks pretty much the same.

2) Ask your friend to make you laugh, right before the shot is taken. With luck, you're caught just as you're about to laugh. Even if it's not on time, your face would've loosened enough and you would've looked like you made a smile, eventhough you weren't thinking about smiling.
