something has been bugging me for a while, his height.... i have compared the novel descriptions of the ML with realistic body scale and i find it....excessive. i am fine with tall and muscular MLs but what with kr authors and the obsession with super tall, off-the-chart height? if her chest was at his waist, then he would be almost double that of her height, given how her description was that she too also taller than average women, so i took the liberty to estimate that ML height would be around at least 3-3.5m tall. hear me out, i know it was fantasy setting and all but with physique like that, i cant help but find it unpleasant to imagine...
I was read somewhere this information. He is 183-192 sm tall, and she is 169-172 sm The emperor summoned our couple to the palace to admire the clean face of ML. And what happened when everyone saw his clean face? Did anyone have the idea that it was the heroine who lifted the curse?
Anyone knows to which chapters of the novel the s1 finale of manhwa corresponds to? It’s when Kyffin saved Elena from the crazy dude Inkan. Table of contents unfortunately stops at ch 32 and reassume at ch 109. I love manhwa adaptation so much but my brain can’t take mtl novels so I just want to check what’s in store in next season
Isn’t the fate of the world important enough to sire a child who will save it, and all the ‘good’ people in it? Of course I feel for the ML, and what he went through, but he was dead wrong that having a child would be a bad thing. We can’t really blame the FL for wanting to survive by having the hero child with the ML now can we? Why exactly would telling the ML that the fate of the world have backfired? The ML just needed to learn how to be a better guy to his child (children) than his own parents were with him, and to realize that the curse could be undone with love. As someone who cares enough about the world if the fate of the world depended on me having a child with a beautiful girl/woman I just met then I would not have been as hesitant provided the girl was consenting of course. Plus it would be really cool if our child will save the world someday.
Hey if anyone has the mtl for the novel I would be forever grateful if you can send me the mtl. Thank you.

I have purchased all the volumes of the novel at Ridibooks .... SS1: Love arises through parenting ... More like the love story between Sydrion and Liliana, after staying as nannies to the twins ... although it is not by chapters volumes, it looks interesting, fragment (I'm translating it in Spanish): Then an unearthly voice broke through to her ear. "Lady Liliana." Liliana's eyes widened and she immediately sat up. The quilt covering her upper body was pushed aside, revealing a thin sheet of spittle, but she was too distracted to care. "Sydrion?" A pure white robe. Blond hair falling softly over her forehead. And golden eyes, as bright as ever, looking at Liliana with a soft glow. Liliana blinked at the sight of her opponent, who appeared within her grasp. Then she gasped. "I'm dreaming." There were several reasons to be sure. First, she felt too light. She couldn't have already lost her fever, even if she had, it would be unnatural for a body that had been sick for hours to be so light. Likewise, it was strange that her voice was clear in my ears. Before, it was clearly inaudible. And most importantly....... "You can't be in my bedroom without my permission." Liliana grabbed Sydrion by the collar and pulled hard. He didn't put up much resistance. "It's a figment of my imagination, isn't it?" Sydrion didn't answer the question. Instead, he smiled seductively, his eyes twinkling, he whispered in a deceptively soft voice. "I have come to offer you something, Lady Liliana. Please accept." Liliana's gaze narrowed. A harsh comment came out of her mouth. "Poor thing." I was talking to my imagination. The dialogue is so....... Childish, blunt and obvious. But it was also sweet. Maybe because, as much as I hate to admit it, that's what I wanted most at this moment. For Sydrion to drop everything and come to her. That someone else would do it for her, because she couldn't possibly give up what she had. "I'm selfish." Muttering to herself, Liliana wrapped her arms around the back of Sydrion's neck. She knew it was a dream, but no, maybe that made it even more urgent. Hugging the fantasy tightly, not knowing when it would leave her, Liliana collapsed onto the bed.
It's pretty late in the translation--270, after they defeat the demon king. I have no idea what the corresponding original novel release number is, but the overall chapter according to @kajnlol should be Chapter 11. I wish I had known that before I pulled an all-nighter to read I really want to know when/how all of the snotty nobles get their comeuppance when the mark gets removed. Edit: possibly 141-142 based on another old post Edit2: first part of Ch 148 of the novel = Ch 280 TL Spoiler: edit 3 answering my own question for future reference Okay, so, obviously they react predictably and some woman (married, and was badmouthing ML/his looks seconds before) immediately goes up to flirt. These shameless scum of the earth! Obviously ML doesn't care at all and just ignores her. Kekeke tells her no one except his wife can touch him. Elena left to change her dress and then found out the Demon King's corpse has vanished in the meantime, so I imagine they will get distracted...but I just want to see Elena put these ***** in their place!
idk if anyone has spoiled these, but basically summary notes to myself. These are from the MTL, so take it with a grain of salt. I do think the MTL is fairly readable though. Spoiler: moments from 157-170 Ch 157 FL (Elena/Ilena) does a cute pregnancy reveal. She hires a performance troupe to put on a play at the duchy castle just for her and ML. At the end, someone "asks" her for the admission fee. It's weird because normally you would pay admission before, not after, but it's even weirder because she already specifically hired them and paid well! The next part wasn't super clear in terms of details I could understand: I think she asks for the price for an adult and a child? Or maybe the price for 3 people period? She pays them the amount of coins specified, basically paying for more than just her and ML to indicate that there's someone else with them. She looks at her husband to see if he got the hint. Obviously, she arranged all this beforehand. ML (aka Kaywhin/Kaihyun/Kyffin) picks up on it right away and starts crying without even realizing it. He's thrilled about becoming a father. Around the same time/chapters Her brother (Edward) gets engaged to a princess from a neighboring kingdom. They met because Sidrion evacuated Elena's family to the royal palace during the demon attack. The princess was visiting and Edward tried to save her. Liliana (their oldest sister) says he tripped and managed to protect the princess. Edward was genuinely trying to save her though! He and the princess fell in love because of that. They get married and Edward moves away, leaving Liliana as the successor to their family. Around 160ish (I just thought this was cute even though it's such a negligible part of the story lol.) A lady (Jessica Avery from MTL) arrives at the duchy uninvited (she sent a letter that was burned with all the other letters that got burned because everyone was trying to gain favor after ML's mark disappeared. She is welcomed nicely, to her confusion, but it turns out that it's because everyone is happy due to the FL's pregnancy. It turns out that her terrible father sent her to seduce the ML and get pregnant because that's her use as an illegitimate daughter and because he thinks the ducal couple hasn't announced a pregnancy, so there's an opportunity. Jessica loathed the idea and wasn't going to try at all, but she still had to make the journey. Since she hears about the pregnancy right away, and she sees how the FL/ML get along so well, she is 2000% "obviously this won't work" and she's sad and wonders if she'll ever meet anyone like that. She doesn't know how to escape her father. She bumps into someone accidentally. He catches her and (more or less) asks her if she's okay and she starts crying because she's not! It turns out to be Sir Thomas (the knight who had his foot stomped by FL at the beginning then became her loyal bodyguard aka the one FL brought back from the dead during the demon attack). Because this novel is all about love at first sight (that you don't realize at first, more or less), we find out they decided to get married! Sir Thomas borrows a shitload of money from ML to free Jessica from her father (a greedy bastard) so Thomas can definitely never leave the family loooooll Jessica, now disowned, becomes the librarian and is very content. Not sure if it's because of his contributions, but Thomas gets a last name--Adrian, according to the MTL. So they're the Adrians! Ch 163-165 Right after Elena talks to god at the royal palace temple in the neighboring country (the one her brother married into), Sidrion has a conversation with god. The old lady/man (lady in the manhwa but MTL is unclear as always) turns out to be an agent of god whom god spoke through. We find out that this is basically a second life/time-travel situation. There's a special ancient tower rumored to grant wishes, and Sidrion climbs it after finding ML dead in order to find a way to fix things. Beyond the debt he feels he owes to ML, ML is basically his best and only friend, so Sidrion is totally devastated. He makes a deal with god to turn back time. It seems like god takes a liking to Sidrion for being so selfless--offers everything and anything he has to make it happen--and I get the impression that god sort of takes on part of the price to turn back time. He also says Sidrion will pay by becoming god's servant in the next life, but not sure if that's the second life (aka the main story timeline) or a future reincarnated life. We find out that the ML's mark is because he is born with too much power for anyone being to handle and the mark mitigates or seals that to help him. The suffering he endures in his first life is sort of a karmic balance for having all that power or something. It seems like the power was always intended to be passed on, because the mark will only go away once he has a child and it takes on some of the power. This is why the mark fades after ML/FL are locked up in their bedroom for two days--it's when the twins are conceived and part of the power is passed on. In the side stories, ML/FL both feel their powers are reduced after the twins are born. Ch 167-169 The scummy old priest and scummier crown prince cook up plot to frame the ML and regain the temple's prestige. Well, the CP doesn't care about helping the temple, he just wants "revenge" on the ML. They'll use a medicine/poison that will make a mark appear on someone's face if they ingest it and make the ML drink it so it seems like his "curse" has come back. (The CP is fuming and jealous that ML is a hero now.) They'll also poison the duchy's water sources so it looks like the "curse" has spread to the residents. Then they'll have the temple use the antidote to make it seem like the temple is the only place that can lift the "curse," so then people won't hate the temple anymore. (People hate the temple and royal family for basically doing diddly-squat during the demon attack.) They're caught pretty easily, as it turns out this was all a plot orchestrated by the crown princess in order to get rid of the CP. She literally sets the whole thing--from the person who entices the priest with the scheme and then entices the priest to involve the CP because the temple has no money to the banquet she uses to reveal everything--up and asks the FL/ML for their cooperation. She sends an anonymous tip to the king that the CP will try to poison and kill the ML at the banquet. The king doesn't want to believe it, but he puts the CP to the test. He wants the CP to prove him right, that the CP wouldn't do such a thing. So he forces the CP to swap places with the ML at the banquet (all the drinks have already been poured and placed) and then gives a toast. The CP, knowing there's poison in the ML's cup, doesn't drink. The king forces/orders him to and the CP pretends to and then "accidentally" drops the cup. The king is very upset and orders the CP be restrained. He also has someone to bring a rat (literally). They feed the rat the drink and it foams at the mouth and dies. The king is devastated and furious. After ordering that the CP be thrown into prison, he promises the ML that this will be dealt with appropriately. CP is deprived of succession right and demoted to a commoner and exiled. He committed a crime that would easily warrant death, especially with the ML being a hero who is also the descendant of a legendary hero AND the husband of the saint, but the queen pleaded with the king successfully. The scummy priest is also punished (they sell each other out, fittingly/refuse to go down alone) and they both claim that it was never meant to be deadly. No one believes them, obviously. In the side stories, letting the CP live predictably turns out to be a huge mistake. He lives quietly and obediently for like 10 years, then starts acting up when the king dies and his sister the crown princess ascends the throne. He actually thought the whole time that he would be recalled and given his rights/nobility back. When this doesn't happen, he starts slaughtering people who have any one or combination of these characteristics: blue or pink eyes, black or silver hair, like the utterly irredeemable trash that he is. This goes into another plot point where the twins help lead to his downfall. The king (former crown princess) uses all of this to finally execute him. Main Story ends at 170 with the twins being born. [SPOILER/]
Wow, I'm on SS2 : Please, brother and sister warriors .... Events have already started when the twins are 10 years old... and volume 7 is 451 pages long .... It begins by showing that Diane (Anne, bonded to Yelena) is “weaker” than Diana (Dana or Anna, bonded to Kaywhin). These twins are stronger than the duchy knights, but weaker than Kaywhin .... Note that this is the beginning part .... by the name of volume 7 which is all of SS2, it is clear that the story will revolve around them and the Demon King.
Okayyy so the 2nd demon king is not like those previous one. He lacked any ambition & interest. In the end he end up become FL&ML son-in-law lol. He married their daughter, Diana. He also looks very different than any demons. He didn't have their characteristics such as horns, wings etc but undoubtedly he's the strongest one . In short word, he's look humane . Diane, their son will succeed the duchy . love this novel a lot, there's no love rival, misunderstanding, etc. It's full of GREEN FLAG, all of them well except the villains duh. And what I love the most is the author give us lottt of side stories .
